Coral Blue Galaxy S7 edge to hit T-Mobile on November 18

Enrique, 14 November 2016

We just reported about the impending release of the Galaxy S7 edge in a Blue Coral paint job on T-Mobile. There was no concrete evidence of exactly when the Coral Blue version of the phone would become available through the carrier. The Coral Blue comes to the S7 edge model as the Note7 was unfortunately unable to carry the exclusive color combo.

A new leak comes from TmoNews which confirms the new model will arrive at the US carrier starting on November 18. The leak in question comes from T-Mobile’s internal messaging system that notifies retail stores and their employees about incoming promotions and new smartphone models.

“Samsung’s popular Galaxy S7 edge is launching in a smooth new color. Coral Blue!” Currently, the Silver and Gold versions of the Galaxy S7 edge are being sold for $70 down and $30 per month for 24 months, which equates to the same price ($789) it held when the phone launched on the UN-Carrier earlier this year.

We also hope that the price of the S7 edge drops once the Blue Coral model hits retails stores. Sadly, this will likely not happen as the S7 edge is the Note7’s backup plan, which is why the phone has retained its value this far into its life cycle. We sure hope the Buy-one-get-one-free offer comes back for Black Friday, as it helped boost sales of the phone, leading to its worldwide domination in H1 of 2016.
