Deal: Huawei discounts Honor 9 and Honor 6A in Europe

Huawei is celebrating Honor Day. Okay, the holiday is not real but the discount is. Two phones are on offer: the premium mid-ranger Honor 9 and the entry level Honor 6A.

The best deal is in the UK, but it will last only until the end of today. The Honor 9 is £300 (down from £380) while the 6a is £100 (down from £150). You can snag one online from the official store.

In Spain, the Honor 9 is €370 (around £327), but there’s no time limit. And the Honor 6A goes for €110 (down from €170).

In Germany there’s a similar deal until the end of the month - Honor 9 for €370. The 6A is not available. Italy gets in on the €370 deal and while the local store does have the 6A, it is not discounted.

These phones will only get one major update, like previous models. They are lowering the price so that, even though their software support and community development is bad to non-existent, people will still buy it. Partnership with XDA was a joke....
