Deals: Amazon India offers great discounts, iPhone prices cut up to 30%

Amazon India is holding its biggest sales event yet - the Great Indian Festival. Here are some select deals (click on the prices to go to Amazon).

There are iPhones at up to 30% off. The iPhone 7 is 30% off, down to INR 39,000. The older iPhone 6s is only 18% off, making it cost about the same as the 7, so not worth it. An even older iPhone 6 is 14% off, down to INR 25,134.

If you want to pay as little as possible for an iPhone, then the iPhone SE is down to INR 19,000, 26% off. The iPhone 5s is cheaper ta INR 16,500, but we think the SE is a better deal (it's 3 years younger).

Note that you can get 10% cashback if you pay through HDFC.

The popular Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is 37% off, down to INR 10,600. If you want to go smaller, the Galaxy On5 Pro is INR 6,500, 19% off.

Another 5" or so option is the Moto G5 Plus is going for INR 13,000, a 24% price cut. Then there's the bezel-less LG Q6 for INR 13,000, 24% down.

Some phones like the OnePlus 5 (INR 33,000) and Huawei Honor 8 Pro (INR 30,000) have not been discounted, but you can get INR 3,000 credit if you trade in an old device.
