Pls reply.Skype is available via Android market...but video call is not supported (yet).
At the moment only voice calling is supported.

The voice quality is fairly good as tested on my Streak, but pls do not expect crystal clear clarity. In my opinion, I would recommend this phone, who does moderate talking with the phone, ( if you want to talk more, attach a wireless headset ), want to surf the web more and would like to watch videos either from youtube or by loading on the phone. Afterall, this is a tablet with phone capabilities included.

nd, 20 Jun 2011im using it now, battery life far better than desire hd, ba... moreThx for the reply, but my main question is about the size of this mobile. do you find it convenient to talk continously for 45 minutes, i mean since its size is huge do you feel tired? also the distance between the mouthpiece and earphone is too wide? ie the other person can hear you well while you are listening to them>? pl let me know thanks for the input on battery.

Hi dell users,
Can any one of you tell me your experience using this as phone? I am into marketing and i hv to talk quite a lot on mobile. I am really not sure if the size of this phone be really comfortable to talk long hrs, Like atleast 45 minutes continously. Am asking this question coz someone had mentioned that the mouthpeice and the earphone distance is not apt coz of the size of streak which makes communication difficult.Is it true? second question has anyone been talking for more than 30 minutes on this phone and still find it convenient to hold it, clear communication , like no problem about distance of mouthpiece and earphone.pl let me know your input is very valuable for me to decide to buy this beauty. Also what s the disadvantage if you cannot make video calls on this through 3g network? thx in advance

its really an outclass cell , the screen is also anti scratch and adrino had made it more fast and convinient an multi functinal cell had buyd it an you may just buy it blindly............

Great stuff.. Really satisfy with the function, but in Malaysia got no telco 3g setting. Wanna cry..

Hanriky, 16 Jun 2011Anyone out there has upgraded this streak to Android 2.2 or... moreI am running 2.2 works well...ocassionally slow and hangs..(gives u tht win98 feel)...but overall is gr8..battery seldom lasts a day and make sure u carry its pathetic 30 pin charger or usb everywhere..they shld have used a USB instead..damn Dell...

Hanriky, 16 Jun 2011Anyone out there has upgraded this streak to Android 2.2 or... moreMine came with 2.2 pre installed. I have updated to the latest 2.2.2 update which overhauls the UI. I get the occassional lag.
Otherwise the update is good. although, I would only suggest updating to 2.2.2 if you are experiencing problems already.
