I've been disappointed in this offering from Dell. I expected so much more. It's nothing special - you can get exactly the same functionality with an HTC - in fact, it's only Android that makes this anything more than an oversized paperweight! iPhone did it first, HTC did it just as well if not better, Motorola did it with class (try the Moto Atrix, it's brilliant! and much faster than the Streak)
It's too heavy - and for the size screen - the resolution could be much higher, at least to match the iP4.
I'm really not too impressed. Oh, and the running time between charges isn't that slick either. All in all, if you want a 'Droid phone, go HTC or Motorola.

Its really a good gadget but need to rectify the specification that the talk time is lesser than 5 hours on any day.

Question for all those who are using Strek with 2.2 update
1. Does it hand when you get calls or mutiple calls at same time. Though my Nokia E71 hangs too.
2. Does it asks for a restart when you recieve lot of sms a time.
3. Working and handling is tough.
I'm comparing HTC Desire HD and Strek. which one to go for?

A 10 inch Android Tablet – Dell Streak 10 at CES 2011
Dell just showed their 10 inch Android tablet at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011. Dell introduced the new device only for a few fractions on a minute, It is just an idea of their next tablet to be produced (a dummy device) that arrived on the CES stage. It takes time to reach the market, the Dell Streak 10 is supposed to be launched next year, that is in 2012.

I have been dealing with Dell products before they even start making Cell Phones lately. Dell products always have issues and drama which doesn't last long compared to Sony, Samsung, Nokia, HTC and Motorola. Check the facts before you start bragging for the Dell Streak which will soon be outdated and stock with it with issues and problems.

Your assessment of Dell streak is totally wrong it seem you are bias with the device. Dell is not releasing 7 and 10.1 because streak 5 is having issues. streak 5 is a table-phone while 7 and 10.1 are tablets period. don't confused your self with these devices. Streak 5 is an excellent devive. It does what it says: phone = Excellent tablet = Excellent. In my assessment i will say the dell Streak 5 is the first true TABLET-PHONE.
The complaints i have read about dell are same on almost every good phone (from apple samsung htc etc. ) out there. although i try not to compare streak 5 with any phone or tablets because it belong to its own WORLD and untill someone come out with a similar device then we start comparing. (seen something in china but has not cross over).
