We can see thease kinds of problm in meny device. it may b in 1.6 Ver. but ur mb hs 2.2 froyo thn u dont hv to face this problm in STRAK. if u hv 1.6ver in tht thn upgrade it into 2.2 (FROYO). hv a great fun with DELL STREAK

Dell Streak is not just good... its very good at what it does :) . I upgraded the OS to 2.2 and have never faced any problem. The apps are great (free and fun.. can be downloaded and installed without a glitch from the phone.) .... all you need is a internet connection ( I got 3G) and then you won't ever miss your laptop. Not to forget that laptop is not so portable.. this fits in your pocket !!
There has been no reason to stop using my phone till now.... and i would give it ***** (5/5 stars)

The Dell Streak 7 and 10 seem to lack the ability to make GSM calls, they don't even have a dialer. They can't and won't be compared to the Streak 5 simply because they're pure tablets.
However the Dell Streak 5 (Mini) is a phone/tablet hybrid, hence the ability to place calls.
I own a Dell Streak 5 (Mini) and have never had an issue, and I believe is the best phone I will ever have.

I'm using it currently and I don't see curren... morein one hand it is super but in the other it disappointed me a lot, I love it but it did not bring me what I expected from it. 1.6 os looks much better than 2.2, it's camera is very poor, it does not make you fill that it's ram is of 512 MB and two app indicated that it has only 393.56 MB RAM, apps are primitive and poor as well, yahoo messenger does not use front facing camera, skype does not support video call as it promised. I only love it's performance, display and 1.6 os interface that's it.

Does ... moreI returned my Dell Streak few days ago because of freezing phone calls, freezing apps, lost Wi-Fi connections in my apartment, outdated software and few more issues I will not recommend to buy. Either you the HTC Desire HD or wait for the new coming phones such as Samsung Infuse, Motorola ATRIX and many more.

Hi all Dell Streak users, some questions for you-
A. Does it freez everytime you get a new call or sms?
B. Does it hangs frequently?
C. Looses wi-fi connectivity often.
I'm confused between HTC Desire HD and Dell Steak. Loved this phone when I saw it at Dell Stores. But after reading review little afraid of spending 35K on it.

Dell Streak is an average device with a lot of issues that caused Dell to release the Dell Streak 7 on T-Mobile and the upcoming Dell 10.1" screen soon. You should have watch CES summit on January 5, 6 and 7 which will show you the world most powerful devices just release with more to come this year. My advice is, don't allow the Dell Streak 5" screen fool you, wait and get better phones with 4.0" , 4.3" or 4.5" you will use for long time with satisfaction and guarantee.

Check the facts, Dell just release the Dell Streak 7 to T-Mobile and a 10.1" screen tablet is on it way to the market. The Dell Streak 5" is a mess they are trying to recover by releasing the Dell Streak 7 and the upcoming 10.1".
