I don't kno' why this thing is called as a mobile phone, having 5' screen and such high specifications, this must be called as a mini laptop or a palm top...

Has anyone hooked a bluetooth keyboard up to the Streak yet? Comments? Secondly, is there a note taking app, like Notes for iPhone or Symbian? Just something to use locally as a word processor. Cheers.

He thinks when someone mentions charging it's to do with his phone contract & doesn't seem to know the definition of "charging a battery"!! Has he had a phone b4?! I wouldn't have believed it unless I read it several times!

AndroidAbh, 24 Jun 2010hahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... moreWhat he actually meant with 'Charging' is, I think, to recharge credits when people use pre-paid cards.. Thats why he says he's on contract already, so he wouldnt need to charge extra..

I LOVE this phone. I've looked at the new Iphone 4, but that's it, just looked. The iphone says you're either stupidly rich, or just stupid.

The Dell though goes someway to branching the lack of small mobile devices that do two things. Act like a small netbook but also make calls at the same time. I know it only has android 1.6 (at the moment), but with 2.2 coming soon, this little baby is going to fly off the shelves ina coupld of months time.

The iphone is one beast, the Dell Streak in a mirage of common sense. If it's too big to fit in your pocket, leave it in an inside pocket in a jacket or briefcase. I love it's super-fast Snapdragon 1GHZ processor! WOW!! Now, if only if I could........

P4U Boy, 18 Jun 2010i like this phone a lot , i bought one the other day ... it... morehahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

this the BEST Comment i hav ever reading in 28 yr of life . never seen more funny comment then one .

why you r charging it dude. you can charge the phone by taking out the charger included when you bought the phone and plug it to an electric socket and plug the other end to your phone. Have you been living in a cave till recently?

it does not matters if u r on contract or not. any one can charge any phone any time . no contract can prohibit u to charge it .

u r really funny , thnx for the comment , u made my day

Had it since launch and sold my iPhone asewll. the size is an asset and not a liability. With fring installed you can use the front cam to make video calls too, I signed in to fring and it let me sign in with my skype details and all my contacts appeared! The fact that you dont need the same phones to work this only those with front cams, makes this such a great deal.

Ive got on screen widgets to show my emails and sms, a great analogue clock which shows an animated weather animation with forecast. even news widgets look great as its all designed for landscape viewing so this idea that it should only be viewed in portait mode is false. you can hold it like a book one handed when reading or both hands when typing and its weight is not an issue.

As was said previously beebplayer is a great iplayer replacement, for divx just install Rock player too.
its expandable to 32gb and has 2gb internal but if you look at photos of it stripped down, the 2gb is shown to be another sd card placed in a slot thats not accessible unless opened. so expect custom mods to happen there!

From the built in editor for photos to having all the apps hidden away in one big menu makes it very customisable. if like me you'll only put important apps out and use the screens for informative widgets instead. much nicer and neater than any iphone.

My next purchase is the dock which gives it usb and hdmi output.
