aqhib, 28 May 2014could someone please suggest me whether to go for this tab ... moreBro the Price is not Same, Dell 7 is for Rs 7600 while nexus 7 (32 GB) is for RS 11000, Believe me i have nexus 7 2012 and dell venue 7, I find mine to be faster. Rest choice is yours..

    I just bot this device..
    Awesome stuff..
    Pros:
    1)Brand Value (DELL + INTEL)-10/10
    2)2Gb RAM & 16Gb (12GB User) internal Memory-10/10
    3)Expandable Memory [claimed as 128GB. I Tried with 4)64Gb) works fine]. 10/10
    5)Fantastic speed. 9.5/10
    6)Sound:7/10 (Excellent clarity but very low volume)
    7)Video:7/10.
    Lacks the Galaxy, ipad colors & brightness.
    8)Best Price under 10K - 10/10

    CONS:
    1)CAMERA. 2/10. Keep ur smartphone handy for pics.
    Freaky Main Camera. Could have put a better camera for the technology used in such a small tab.
    Front camera-the worst I've seen in my 16 years of Mobile usage. Cheap chinese phones have better cams.

    2) OS-8/10
    Android 4.2.2 not upgrading to 4.4 kitkat, or even 4.3 Jelly Bean.

    3) Android U.I. very outdated feel. 7/10

    4) Could have included internet connectivity via sim / usb dongle.
    Not a main problem though most mobiles now are smartphones & almost all have tethering. 9/10

          Guys help me with this please can i use portable wifi router with this tablet? i just want to buy this tablet as no branded company is providing 2gb ram at such a price.

                      I bought it in the Dell store last week no fake information or anything bad experience about the tablet...very smooth and fluid with latest android version...really worth...

If you are near a WiFi connection you should see it. Then just use your Skype account to call people. Its free and it works very well on this tablet. I have barely had my Dell Venue 7 for a month now and I love it. I am glad I did not spend all the extra on a different Brand. This is cheaper in cost and serves my purpose.

                                Hi friends i am Adinath from karnatak i am buying this tab at 28 april and i chick all the total 70% specification lies this tab is dont have sim slot and and not 3g only 2g and i am buying this tablet then after 1 week scree is lose (like in kannada meaning halagodu) so friends dont take this tablet u want tablet plz take any samsung tablet but cost is more but tablet is very good in softwere and hardwere also good plz any one also dont take this tablet this is my personal advise

                                  Guys, Dell Venue 7 comes in two types : with 3G and without 3G
                                  Without 3G - Rs.7789
                                  With 3G - Rs.13999
                                  Hope this clears the confusion regarding 3G.

                                    Hi Guys, I enquired about its 3G capability. Dell support team confirmed that it will support 3G via micro sim but you cannot make voice call.

                                    I got the reply from their official twitter account.
