I have read in some of the reviews about dell venue 8 that it has screen freezing issue.Is that true? Can anyone confirm that for me.I m about to buy it.Plz someone who already have it tell me.

I want to buy Dell Venue 8 32gb, wifi-3g tablet. In other websites I found the review saying that its not a good tablet, theres a problem with touch screen, display is not good and the camera is also not good. Can anyone please tell me as to howz the tablet performance is exactly.

however you can voice call through on net through some messenger applications like line etc but that is different thing.

there are two versions of venue 8 one is only wifi and the other is wifi+3g later one has the sim slot and it is around 2000 rs costlier , you can insert a micro sim in this tablet which gives you 3g connectivity but you can't make a call.

got my venue 8 yesterday, its now 24 hours, my experience with this gadget is………… ..wow…….
here are the pros:
1) I can't understand why dell is not speaking it aloud.. it is actually upgradable to android 4.4.2 kitkat. there is no publicity for this feature
I didn't know this when I was buying so this is an extra gift for me from dell.
2) 2 gb ram at this price range.. simply rocking having no problem in multitasking
3) I m watching here some fellows still confused about sim connectivity
guys there are two version of the tab wifi and wife+3g the later one is 2000 rs costly having sim slot for 3g connectivity. however you can't make a call from this tab.
4)32 gb of internal storage , omg ! in just rs ~14000
out of this around 23 gb is available to user and the big thing is this whole 23 gb can be used for installing applications, yes memory is unified.
5)stock android with no lags at all. so far
6) considering the size of tab in compare to battery capacity back is not disappointing. you can do full day with moderate uses.
and CONS:
1) I am afraid intel processor is not handling some applications well there are different versions of some applications for intel processors which are not responding good but such applications are very few. out of my 50 applications in staled so far I faced this problem with only one application and that is uc browser
2) thickness and weight of the tablet is is not that ipressive. its actully 377 gm for 3g model I am using.
3) I dont like the keyboard and status bar (with no direct toggles) of stock android. however aitype keyboard and notificaion toggle available at google play making my experience better.
concludingly quality of tablet is what you expect from a good brand like dell. I recommend this tablet an 8 incher whith 2 gb ram and 32 gb internal memory in near about 14500 from compuindia the dell express shipper which also provide you free original dell case with tablet.

uh duh, it uses a micro-sim and is mobile integrated, so obviously you can call sms mms and all that... A micro-sim is just a smaller in size version of a regular sim. Same function
