Anyone has this Dell Venue Pro. I need your confirmation/feedback if there is an expandable Micro SD card slot on this phone and if you are successful in getting a bigger size Micro SD card to work on it? Thanks heaps.

Hey I have just place an order for this from MobiCity. While chatting with them, we come across an issue that needs clarification and that is the expandable Micro SD card/slot. Anyone who have this Dell Venue Pro - can you kindly confirm if there is an expandable Micro SD card on this phone or not? If it does, does it work, are able to insert a bigger micro SD card and that if it works?

Very nice phone. Dell did a very nice job on it! I love the touch screen, tiny keyboard but special design! I think that android is better than windows phone 7 and with more free applications!

Guys .. freaking awesome phone .. used it, preety fast , touch is amazing the slide out keyboard is tiny, but the onscreen keyboard fills up for the same . You can play most of ur Xbox games on the device and has nice connectibity. The camera is not that great from a 5mega pixel. But than it has loads of other things to keep u busy.

It does support a basic set of multitasking possibilities, but that's not the point.

The point is Windows Phone will expand, and with only 256MB of RAM, it's the first phone that will lack memory as all other devices have 512MB.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 2011the ram wont matter as wm7 does not support multitaskingHi,

WP7 "right now" does not support multi-tasking, hence, RAM is not an issue as such. But it is widely believed that MS will bring out a major update for WP7 in CES2011 which is happening in a few days' time. At tht time, wen multi-tasking is introduced, DVP bubble will fall like a pack of cards compared to other WP7 devices like Focus or HD7, etc which have more than enough RAM packed into thm. THX TO DELL FOR CRUSHING OUR DREAMS AND HOPES !!! MAY U ROT IN HELL.... AMEN !!!

The Dell Venue Pro is supposed to only have 256MB of RAM:
