With some exceptions as to gaming shouldn't be too much of an issue. But yes I wish it had more memory.

Hey guys, This phone really has only 256 mb RAM? Please confirm, if it's true then Gsmarena please modify the specs page.

This phone only has 256 MB Ram . I had this phone in my sights when i decided not to buy it coz of all the defects . Totally gorgeous phone but really really terrible hardware and issues . waiting for the DVP 2 !

Oh Man i am over-releived to finally see any phone overtaking samsung s8500 in term of Ranking on gsmarena...samsunv wave was on top of charts for past many weeks when in fact it shudnt hav been there for even a one week.......but finally this phone has overthrown it from its position..... Way to go dell and microsoft....

I got the phone for about a week now, I just have to say that this is by far the best WP7. Everything about this phone is perfect. Best facebook integration with your contacts list. The window tile are beautiful. I think this phone is worst the money you spent.

This will turn alot of people off considering on the spec it does say 512 MB. When it's really running 256 MB which is way below the mimimum of Microsoft's requirements. Correct this now or you customer will flee.

I am not going to trust the venue pro will be capable of multitasking etc.. after months of delay , issues with half the parts and then blunder on the specs dell have officially declared themselves as the biggest

this phone has FM radio, reading the specs:

... and what's wrong with the 08 snapdragon processor? This processor is so good, that HTC HD2 was re-released with the same processor on HTC HD7. Now if you want to talk about ripoff HD7 is the ripoff for the price! Especially since Fry's was giving away HTC HD2 for free! (with 2 year T-Mobile renewal)

Ed, 18 Dec 2010it's official Dell Venue Pro will have AT&T bands. Another Dell Venue will. it's already been hinted at by Rogers wireless, too. Just a day or two before the FCC released info.

Well U can get it in grey market! but the only grey market handset for win 7 phone i have heard off is HTC HD2 for 35,000 Rs.

If it really costs b/w 99-149$, then I will say it's the best one deal for the people like me who just started experiencing the world of 3G mobile communication.
Rest I wanna know when it will be available here in India? anybody knows?

Have bee usign this for abut a month now. Bought it at the MSFT Store. This unit is amazing. I love every aspect of the phone. The big surprise was the quality of the screen and the quality of the speakers. The sliding keyboard has a great feel to it.
My only gripes:
1) The screen seems to mounted slightly crooked - off by about 1/2mm
2) It is a bit fat due to the sliding screen
It is the best thinng I've ever seen come out of Dell.

I cannnnnnnnnnot wait for my Dell Venue Pro to arrive. Been checking online everyday for the status to change from "Production" to "Shipped". This phone is less expensive than HTC HD7 for Tmobile and should be a seamless transition from my Blackberry Curve. If you're interested in seeing some features of the phone, look on Youtube... videos are up now that have little mini hands-on reviews. This phone looks AMAZING! I just hope we get Adobe Flash in Windows Mobile 7 soon
