Raghav, 09 Nov 2010How about the Java applications??? if it's not supported..Much like the iPhone and Andriod devices WP7 phones use the new age app design. Java is obselete in terms of mobile gaming.
You won't need Java games when you have fully fledged mobile apps.

Sunil, 29 Oct 2010Just for your kind information , being a Tech Expert I cann... moreBeing a Tech Expert doesn't restrict you from suggesting to buy a "grey market" phone - hell it's not a classified device for crying out loud. The iPhone 4 HERE in Bombay ooops Mumbai is sold all over and YES its sold in the grey market (i.e. without a bill) and has been reviewed & suggested markets like Hera Panna and Alpha of its availability on popular TV and News channels. Dont tell me crap that your credibility is superior to theirs.
Whether you announce it or not every "cell phone enthusiast" here and elsewhere would know where to get themselves a phone so mentioning the places ISN'T a crime as your not buying a weapon but a damn phone!!! Grow up dude, how old are you anyways?!?!
QUOTE:
Just for your kind information , being a Tech Expert I cannot suggest you grey market pcs, hence if you do wish to buy one your free to do so, and one more thing forger about its launching in UK Dubai & HK... i can also tell you where you can find those phones in India specially in Bombay, but i can't as its against my profession.
Any ways its just like selling a pirated CD of an unreleased movie.

sunil

Sunil, 29 Oct 2010Just for your kind information , being a Tech Expert I cann... moreI have to say, your comment doesn't really make sense.
Whatever your profession is, you cannot tell someone that a phone won't be available in their country if it is, grey market or not.
Whilst you may be limited to not saying how/when/where you could, in any situation, tell them that in some way the product would be available.
If, through the grey market, the Venue Pro is going to be available, then it is available whatever the way, so you cannot say it isn't - simple.

I thought people should know (if you don't already) that the storage specs on this page are wrong.
The Venue Pro only has 1GB of storage (unlike the 8GB found on other WP7 devices) however it does have a memory card slot.
From what I've heard - the memory card merges with the internal memory, meaning you don't have to save separatly to the card/phone but you cannot then use the card in a PC and when taking out/putting it in a phone reset is required.

The phone looks to be one hand savvy, for this is important to me. The large screen easy access to keyboard make the look to be very savvy for the qwerty user.
