recently i bought this one.. but i'm facing 3 major problems..
1.how to connect this one to PC
2.how to connect to other phones via bluetooth
3.while opening marketplace its showing "market[lace is not yet available in your country"..
So, please kindly help me how to solve this problems.

Hey guys iv been using dell venue pro for over 3 months now..the phone is extremely solid and good to use...battery is about 1500 mah which lasts upto a day which is pretty satisfactory..the screen (AMOLED) is absolutely top notch and watching hd videos is so much fun on it...
Just wanted to ask if its possible to run android on DVP (Which is running on normal dell venue by the way)...
Windows 7.5 plainly sucks on this phone which otherwise is the best in its category..

i have used all kinds of phone made by Nokia,Samsung,Motorola,Sony Ericsson,LG,Apple iphone etc for the past 9yrs and so far Dell Venue Pro is by far the best.Everything about the phone is great except the bluetooth which does'nt seem to connect to other phones.With the update to 7.5 (mango),believe me,it is SUPERB.I can hadly put it down.

Else you can also buy from Suleka for 14,400.

But if you connect it to your PC and run the Zune software and update the phone, it will automatically install all available updates. The latest one, which installs WP 7.5 is named 7.11.xxxx.
Zune really is not a problem I was talking about. The Zune software you use on the PC to transfer music, videos etc. is very-very smooth and much better than iTunes. It's just that I dislike that you can't simply drag and drop files into the phone's memory like I can do with my other phone. Also, to download any app you must have a hotmail/windows live accounts (which is free)

Just got the phone yesterday, very very pleased with it. Keyboard is nice, sliding mechanism is solid. Back panel is non-glossy and that is a big plus for me. It came with WP 7 but it only took me about 20 minutes to update it to WP 7.5. Interface is slick. The only main concern is that Microsoft seems to be locking it down a bit by making you use Zune software and signing in to a Live ID before downloading any app. But at the current price (INR 14,000 ~270 USD), it is totally unbeatable.
BTW, I asked this question but did not get any response - the phone does function without a SIM card inserted.

Caution: Like the person mentions your warranty will go void once you rip that black sheet which covers the Micro-SD card and yes it supports upto 16GB for now!

The problem is not that they stopped making dell venue pros. Heck, some of the most popular windows phone devices have also been discontinued. The problem is that they don't make any other windows phones, or any phones for that matter. This fuels speculation that dell is exiting the smartphone market entirely, and the department tasked with adapting windows phone updates to their handsets would be eliminated.
There's really no telling whether or not the DVP will ever get windows phone 8. If you want to play it safe, get a lumia 900 on AT&T, or wait for another T-Mobile phone with a decent sized AMOLED screen. It's worth mentioning though that these are pretty cheap in the aftermarket, so if you want to try one out, you should go for it. If they aren't updated when WP8 comes out, sell it.

Dell has discontinued Venue pro in US today. Is it still suggested that one should buy it..??
I was planning to buy it but now i feel hesitant whether dell will provide updates or service for this device any more.......your expert opinions please
