plzz guys who ever is trying to get this piece of shit from dell avoid and go for some better phones in the market. I will list u my xperience..
1..no 3.5mm jack(pathetic sound-even at hign volume u will die to hear the music)
2.poor camera quality
3. excessive heating and poor battery life
4. on top of that problem with accessing the gmail services and the android market. Hd to go to the service center, but still not rectified..
This phone is a waste of money.....

There are detailed instructions on how to get an OSF from the UK to india. Note: as the thread now says, do NOT order from prepaymania.co.uk because they do not ship to aramex addresses. I myself bought from prepaymania because i didn't want to ship to india, sent to a friend in london who then brought it down to bombay.

Ketan, 26 Jan 2011thamnks for your opinion but can u help me for sync the pho... moresimply connect the phone to pc/laptop and do whatever u feel like doing. save calender, pics, music, videos and contacts directly into the memory card( i have upgraded my memory card to 8 gb)like u would save into any mass storage device and let the android do the sorting for u...as simple as it can get:) enjoy

I have purchased this phone.This is really a very good phone. You can compare it with any other phone.Quality,sound,picture are very very good though it has 3.2 mega pixel....It has brand value.

I've had this phone for a month. I will only talk about the cons, so you people know if its worth your money.
Battery Life sucks, big time!!
Ringer Volume is too low to be audible outdoors.
Screen virtually is useless in bright sunlight, you just would not be able to see the icons on the screen.
Speaker sound is really, really low, probably only meant for quite indoors.
Just recently, my phone has started to hang and takes time to go from one screen to the other.
I will speak to Dell people about that and update you guys.
I don't really think this phone will give you a good experience! Rest your luck!!

I can open gmail in my browser..however when i am trying to login through the icon..it says "cant establish a server location.contact your operator..
So, Do i need to call Cust care and manually configure the account..Does it inclued activation charges as well?
