marge, 20 May 2021Well... to this day I'm still mostly concerned about t... moreAh yes, the Nokia 8110 "Bananaphone" was the KaiOS device that caught my interest to begin with, the reports about irritating bugs was worrying.
Hopefully the Energizer E280s will be what Nokia failed a couple of years ago and adding twice the battery size in the process.
I might be unusual in that i could do without a camera in a feature phone. If i get big battery, 4G and ability to Wifi-tether i'm happy. It seems the Energizer phones are only sold in a few markets and this model is still so new you can not even find any reviews of it.

Highlandpark, 19 May 2021I guess camera is less of a priority in a feature phone? ... moreWell... to this day I'm still mostly concerned about the price the Nokia 8110 4G (another KaiOS phone) originally sold for, and it was too overpriced for what it was. For that same price, you could easily get a cheap smartphone with a much better camera.

This phone does look really interesting, big battery, minimalist phone, 4G and wifi hotspot. I'm thinking this could be a daily beater with fantastic standby time. When needed just bring & hook regular android device up via wifi.
My only concern is if Kaios have gotten rid of most of the bugs yet?

This phone has already been released in Masr. Not sure when it's going to be released in the rest of the world, but you can get it if you're from Masr.
