You have to cut open the battery and resolder new elements inside - I've done that with my 1018 putting bigger capacity elements and everything works fine. Just be very careful with cutting the battery case, because when you glue it back aftewards you'll want it to look as "never been touched" :)

Does anyone know where I can buy an original or compatible battery for my mates Ericsson A1018s or how to disassemble the battery so new battery cells can be put inside it.
