I have lost my manual for my T28w phone. When I click on "manual" on this page I get a screen telling me that the page is no longer available. Is it possible for me to access a manual???

I quite miss my old T28s. The backlight was really strong, not like the dirty green of other phones at the time. I like the 'Low' ringtone, and the button click as well.

oh, and on ringtones - you can't load them on from elswhere, but you can program your own as it has a composer. there used to be quite a few websites around with the keypresses for good tunes - do a search, they may still be there.
by the way, the trick to not breaking the catch on the flip is to squeeze the side button gently when you close it. Learn that little bit of care and respect for this beautiful creation, and it will last forever. Slam it shut like an idiot, and you will (eventually) get the broken phone you deserve.

I had this for a year back in 2000, and i still miss it now. Quite simply the most beautiful phone ever made, period. I have NO idea what people are talking about here, complaining about the signal - RF on this phone was faultless, better than the T39 I replaced it with, and every other phone I've had since. This is probably to do with that nice big aerial which they were brave enough to stick on it - and which brilliantly sets off the whole design. As for the clumsy idiots who complained about the button on the side, thanks for ruining the most perfect idea for answering a phone I've ever come across. EVERY phone should have one of those buttons! But oh no, they can't ever make another flip phone like that, because F*ckwit over there couldn't handle the spring loading. Philistines.

I got a t28 because i liked the desighn.. it is small and ligt . but the signal is bad and the kesys are very hard to press and do not respond proper otherwise i think it was revolo\utionary in design at his time...but the antenna is very ugly:)and it only has 10 ringtones and weak vibrations!

I replaced a perfectly fine phillips savvy (yes, the original) with this phone and I am thoroughly unimpressed! The reception is vague to non-existent. I've also found that it's slow to react to my key tapping and that either it dislikes my partner or the phone/sim card interface is shit (I think the latter!!) It has often failed to find the phone numbers on my sim card & the other night it tripled everything and then froze. I should've stuck to my boring old savvy!!!!!!!!! At least i could talk to people on that one. I do like the style of the T28s but the shitty functioning just dosen't make up for that! To the manufacturer - the idea is there - it just needs refinement! Otherwise it's a snazzy phone (plus my mum's got a T10 & she has no problems but for the signal strength - perhaps this is true with all ericssons? I hope not as I would like to stay with them!

this was my first phone and overall it was alright. i like the simple design. however i had trouble with the button that release the flip. after while it could not catch properly, so i had to get it fix. i used it for calls and sms so that suited me well. however, i change to the t39 when that came out.
