t39 has such a clean and simple design. i use sms alot, and i like the idea of entering your own 'words' into the dictionary. the games were pretty shit. the flip design is much better without the button. heres a tip, never put the phone in your top pocket when doing a shit... cos mine fell in when i bend over!!! haha, thats a true story!!! i swear!!! what was amazing is, it got water damage and i kept using it (after cleaning it) until the display stopped working. reception was kind bad, but still usable. now thats a tough phone!!!

Ericsson T39 is still the best hand sets.The latest models are like toys more than a mobile phone, T39 of course the best mobile phone.

If I could afford, I'd buy a second one just to have it as a spare :) Pitty todays phones all look like toys :(
And finally, T39 without it's antenna wouldn't look as nice :)) Plus, it's quite handy to grab the phone out of a deep pocket ;)

This is a fantastic phone, the battery life is great, the menu system is easy to use. It also stores a large number of text messages - last count 30+ as well as caller info - ie missed calls etc.
However I have found it to be plaged with problems. I have had it repaired 4 times and exchanged twice, all the phones develop reception problems after some time and keep dropping calls. Yet with these problems I wouldn't change it for any other phone !

I have again switched over to ericsson 39 after trying nokia, motorola, samsung,and sony ericsson. Ericsson T39 is still the leader in my opinion.

you can always find'em on ebay, but a bit pricey

After 11 months, my original ultra slim BUS-11 battery 650mAh died!! Wonder when Ericsson will sort out their short life-span battery problem... sigh! Warranty is supposed to be 1 year but Ericsson dealer did not live up to its promise. Found out an ori. battery costing USD $50 - pretty expensive! Finally purchase a clone BUS11 fo only USD $20 - handset still able to authenticate clone battery (standby time display correctly).

Pure perfection!I have a T39m for about 8 months now,and i'm still in love with it!Excellent features and functionality,great design,small weight,standby 230 h with ultra slim battery(650 mAh),340 h with slim battery(850 mAh),together with T68i probably the best SonyEricsson mobile phone in the market right now!Just hope SE will produce it with colour screen,internal antenna and MMS capabillity in the future!It would be unbeatable then!

After 11/2 year I must say: number one as in big Danish consumer investigation! Nowadays I use camera, BT with Palm Tungsten. Almost military quality! Only wish it come back with colour screen. Never sell if made in Sweden!

My T39 was defective and was not replaced. Dont trut Ericsson mobiles
