I absolutely LOVE this phone. I'm a complete teck nut and am sitting here drulling. The problem is my area uses a TDMA network and not GSM. Is there a TDMA or GAIT version (compatible with both TDMA and GSM) cause my local Cable & Wireless might just go GSM soon. I know about the T60 which is TDMA but not as good as the T65
I will pay $∞

Very good phone
5 numbers for each contact, SMSs are in phone memory if u dont save them to SIM
Battery lasts long, good and strong connectiion and stand-by signal, big screen with sizeble font, but the software is very slow.
Visit esato.com for phone logos and ringtones :))

For all the Nokia supefans: I used to be one of you guys, until I put my heands on an T65. Stilish, big screen, an very good menu and not least you pay less for better. An far more user friendly! You can do almoust everythig. For all the people who complained about T65: read the manual first men! You'll see why!

Well, a nice phone and for sure, a big step for Ericsson. But just one simple question: how can I save a number in SIM memo? Seem that the only option that you have is to save it as a "contact" in phone memory. Which sucks really! Tanks!

Weird how so many people love this phone... I went with Ericsson because their old(er) models have been bulletproof, so simple, so quick, so fuss-free. Now I find with this one they've changed the interfaces and commands all over the place, and the inconsistencies drive me nuts. Mr Pissd Off is right, there are so many ridiculously tortuous routes to get ANYTHING done; sometimes you're supposed to press "Yes" and sometimes you're supposed to wait instead - and HOW MANY CLICKS does it take to reply to or forward one damn SMS?? Plus, this must be the SLOWEST phone i've ever seen... ages to write an SMS using T9, and has anyone tried to delete any messages off one of these? Better make sure you've got something else to do in the meantime. Quite disappointed, really; phones are supposed to make life easier, not more confusing, slower, stranger, and more frustrating. Off to sell mine now...

I have changed two T65 so far. Even though showing network connection, the phone actually loosees connection with the operator and yu have to switch it on and off in order to make and receive calls. Now I am changing the SIM, maybe I shall this will solve the problem. What do you think? Any one else with this problem?

the first versions of the t65 which was shipped in europe october of last year has the buzzing sound in the speaker and some other defects. before buying please know the version number of the software. no phones are perfect and even nokia phones have bugs even if it is a new model. most small phones coming out today look like toys, the nokia 8310 for example.
