and what about the FOMA? can you compare it please to T68? is that a phone or a new system for mobile communication? if its the best, maybe in japan only, correct me if im wrong :) i do know that there are four suppliers of 3G equipment in japan and those are NEC, Fujitsu, Panasonic and Ericsson. 3 japanese company versus the swedish. ericsson still rules... peace!!!

Best phone on Earth? Are you kidding? You should take a look at what they're sporting in Japan. The new FOMA series puts everything in Europe and the Americas to shame.

i noticed theres a lot of comment about this fon, good or not so bad, its still the best fon on earth right now and not just better one, like what some of our friends here who compare it to nokia6310(for those with big hands) and nokia9210(for those who dont mind carrying a "brick") and for 8210, what can i say, its still the same with other nokia's except for FM. if you want a bunch of accessories and if you have money then try those expensive ericsson's accessories, niwey you can afford to buy those expensive fons, what more the accessory. and for those who are saying that T68 is so slow, try upgrading ur fon's SW to R2A and you can see the difference, you cannot compare the speed, not just to nokia, but to all available fon you have, coz T68 is much much faster. try it and you cannot lie to urself that ericsson has produced one of a kind fon. right now, nothing can compare to this fon, coz technology and style makes Ericsson T68 different and simply the best.

See my review of the 6310 - overall it is a better phone in term of usability, even if the T68 does have a few more features. The T68 weighs less, but it's also uncomfortably small and feels 'cheap' (even if it definitely isn't!). The T68's colour screen is a nice touch, but uses up battery power, and the 6310 has a much bigger battery than the T68 (1100 mAh as opposed to the 700 mAh of the T68). This is a key point. Triband is useful, but only for those who regularly visit the USA - otherwise it's not a very important feature. Overall, the 6310 is the better handset, no doubt at all.

too much talking is a waste of time.the t68 is only 84 grams with a colour screen and the most technologically advanced telephone at its size!right now at least!and if you´re patient enough and wait for the upgrade with the mms you´ll have a phone which after 2 years will still be at the peak of technology.the 3rd gen phones will come late and will cost double thew price of a t68!

use the key pad short cut you dumbo. i can navigate so much faster then the nokia 8210. and so fun to use since i can see almost all the shortcut number on the menu system. not needing to memorised the shortcut number for each option. even the main icon menu can be selected using the keypad (just match their postion on your keypad). nokia interface is so slooooow compare to T68.

although this is a great phone with great features overall it lags..
lags as in when you change between menus it take a little time to notice it or even when you scroll, it won't stop when you stop .. it'll stop a few names after u stop

The T68 would be a great phone - if it were a nokia! Great looks, great size, great features, shame about the operating system. Press the green call key on your nokia and get a list of the last 10 people you communicated with, press the same key on your ericsson and if bill has called you, you've called bill, and he has called you back, but you missed the call, he's in there three times. I don't need bill in there three times - I just need a list of the people I speak to most often! POP3 email will be fantastic, when someone manages to make it work easily and reliably. I struggled to set it up, and the network techno-bods weren't a lot of help. Shame the on-board software hasn't got the ability to sift out formatting information in the incoming email, instead it just abandons the transfer leaving you with header only. Tell all your friends that you need simple emails, then if you can live with the limit of 300 characters in your outgoing mails it'll work reasonably well. Wait a minute though, isn't it easier to send 2 text messages! Nokia aren't doing POP3, wonder why!? SMS on the T68, as in all ericssons, isn't as user-friendly as your 5110 and pals. Too many key-clicks are required in too many situations. Ericsson, get some teenagers on the design team. Overall, the T68 is a winner. Technically, its great, but too many user-unfriendly niggles will prevent long-term relationships with users. I keep my 3210 in my bedroom draw and stroke it occasionally, don't expect to find my T68 in there in 6 months time. Its a stepping stone.

This phone is a piece of SHIT! I bought it three different phone and different colors. But it never give me good receptions. It shows not service or drop calls.... Not worth paying $400 for this junk!
