Exclusive: Meizu 22 is launching in April
Yesterday, we came across a leaked image of what was believed to be the upcoming Meizu 22 Pro. As it turns out, the device in the image is the Meizu 22, and we have confirmation that it will be launching in April.
The launch will take place in China first while the global expansion is yet to be confirmed. Meizu 22 will be the first device from the 22 series, and it may be joined by a Pro model later on.
Apart from the leaked image showcasing the altered camera island design, we don’t have much else to work with regarding specs. Meizu 22 is expected to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a flagship camera setup, and the latest version of Flyme AIOS.
We’re also expecting deep integration via Flyme Auto with electric vehicles from the Geely conglomerate (Meizu’s parent company) which includes brands like Volvo, Polestar, Lynk & Co, Smart and Zeekr.
