Galaxy Note 6 tipped for August launch in US
The successor to Samsung's Galaxy Note5 smartphone has been the subject of several leaks and rumors for the past few months now. However, what we didn't hear so far is the possible launch time-frame for the device.
Well, that changes now, as the usually reliable leakster @evleaks has revealed an August launch for the Galaxy Note 6 in the United States. In fact, he pin points the week of August 15.

To refresh, rumors say the Galaxy Note 6 will be powered by a Snapdragon 823 SoC, and sport a 5.8-inch QHD display. The phone is said to come with a whopping 6 (or even 8) GB of RAM. Aside from this standard model, Samsung is also rumored to be working on a 'Lite' variant with SD820 chipset, 1080p display, and 4GB RAM.

Interesting. A rumor from Tech Times mentions RGB AMOLED (presumably as opposed to the current Pentile). If that's true, that's all the reason I'd need. Actually, show me a Note 3 with a proper RGB (or S-stripe) AMOLED (and, maybe, Android N), and I'...

That is THE perfect Note 6 slogan, I'd be shocked if Samsung doesn't use it.
