Interesting. A rumor from Tech Times mentions RGB AMOLED (presumably as opposed to the current Pentile). If that's true, that's all the reason I'd need. Actually, show me a Note 3 with a proper RGB (or S-stripe) AMOLED (and, maybe, Android N), and I'd buy THAT.

You're mistaken my friend.
More RAM doesn't mean more "features". It just means the rest of what you mentioned.
However you missed out on the point that after X amount of memory, the rest of it goes totally waste. X depending on rest of the specs of the device.
For a device having a mobile processor, even the best of it's kind, anything more than 4 GB is overkill. What's the point of having 8 GB when about 4 GB of it would never be utilized because even after 10 simultaneous applications running, total utilization is 3.8 GB?
It's same for computers. There are custom designed PCs having 32 Gigs of memory with an i7 Sky lake having a GTX 960 as the GPU.
By your logic it should blow away any other PC having less than 32 Gigs out of the water however my system with 12 Gigs of 1333 MHz RAM but with a GTX 980 Ti + i5 4670K (Notice, CPU and RAM are inferior by quite a margin) would give at least 30 FPS+ on any title in the world. I took gaming as an example here because you can't really do rendering and stuff on a phone and the only practical way to utilize all those GBs, that CPU oomph and the GPU is heavy gaming.
Adequate RAM for a workstation is 8 GB.. For a Gaming PC with top notch graphics and best in class CPU is 16..
For a decent mid range handset it's 3 GB and for a best in class device it's 4 GB Max. Anything more, you need to upgrade rest of the hardware too.. Just adding more RAM won't do nothing.
P.S - Excluding iPhones. Their memory management is far superior.

I'm bored of my iPhone 6s, now I'm using my 6 and s7 edge as my main phone . But I'm really very excited to see the next Galaxy Note . I'm planning to buy both the variants with all colors . This upcoming NOTE will be a beast..........

I literally can't wait till it's launch, I've had Samsung phones since Galaxy S, My wife took my Note 3 (Which I really loved) and I was stupid enough to go and buy me a Huawei Mate 7, and now I'm sick of it, my hands are literally shaking for a Samsung phone but I think Note 6 will be worth the wait, Hopefully.

I hope you are iPhone fanboy. Even iPhone has to increase the RAM to 4GB to add multi-window and iPen feature for the iPad Pro. Grow up boy :)

I am what you i guess a Samsung fan. I have had the privilage to experience 3 wonderful devices, the Note 2, Galaxy S5 and the Note 4. My biggest gripe is not enough processor speed and ram as this is used alot by android. However id buy the new galaxy note 6 if it gets say 6 or 8 gigs of ram from 3 gigs would help tremendiously.
