Greetings!
Wishing to do away my with iPhone6s, initial owner of the 1st Gen' Note. Is the GNote5 a worthy upgrade from my iP6s?

Great specs. SD card slot and replaceable battery are the only other things I'd look for to buy this phone.

Anonymous, 12 May 2016so you work a 12 hour shift. Yet you use all the power from... moreI have note 4 not 5. I'm working in a factory on automated production lines so if they run smooth I have pretty much nothing to do, just walk between stations and wait for problems to show up. And belive me, battery in note 4 is great thats a fact, but streaming over 4g plus bluetooth headset are draining battery in about 7 to 8 hrs so I'm using around 150% a night. I could probably live with powerbank but I prefer to swap battery.

If you guys want a replaceable battery and SD card slot you should be going to what I have in the form of the Galaxy Note Edge! It has all of thee above.
I am hoping that the new note will at least have the SD slot, that's the only thing I'd trade up for. Loving the s pen.

why not make 3 simcard phablets? 2 simcard phones are becoming ancient thing. start designing 3,4,5 and 6 simcar phones

lol 8gb ram in a phone ? thats as much as my computer but no phone needs 8gb ram lol.... and how much will be stolen from smartwiz 3gb ??? so silly... phones are not computers where u multi task like crazy... android still lags even if 16gb possible..

Its great that sd card will be back but if it doesnt have removable battery (which it wont have) and will keep all glass build (which it will) Ill buy new note 4 to replace my nearly 2 yrs old note 4. I was using note 2, 3 and 4, skipped 5 because of lack of micro sd, removable battery and all glass build and it wasnt even available in europe initially which made no difference really since I didnt liked it at all. Shame really because note series were greatest phones money could buy but that all changed when note 5 came out.
And yes I'm using two batteries since i work 12 hr shifts and have lots of time to spare so battery doesnt last whole shift and since I'm moving a lot at work I dont want to be tied to wall, fast charge is still slower than swpping batteries (about a minute from 5% to 100% compared to 5% to 50% in 30 minutes or so) I say no to all gass build because of how slippery it is, never had a case on phone untill I have got note 2 because it was sliding out of my hands, leather like back covers in note 3 and 4 were just brilliant with grip.
But since samsung decided to bring back sd card here is hope that maybe note 8 will be as functional as note 4 was.

iPhone no more innovation and iPhone 7 will be slimmer coz earphone jack will be removed. Note Stylus is the best and apple just follow without innovation by Apple anymore. Sad to see this happen the innovative company declining... :(

(still not sure what was going through the Samsung execs minds when they made that decision.... "must be like apple" i think)
