To me, this phone is very elegant in appearance. However, in function, it is just okay. Prior to this phone I had a Motorola i1 running just Android 1.5. This one is running Android 2.6, however, the Motorola i1 could run more Google applications than this one. I bought this phone particularly for using the Garmin Navigation function for free instead of having to pay for TeleNav Navigation usage. And it was good until I installed the latest Google Maps to it. Google Maps is, in my opinion, a much better navigation service than both Garmin's and TeleNav's (and possibly Tom Tom's as well) and it is FREE. Now I feel like selling this phone and getting one with a faster running processor and using Google Maps exclusively for navigation.

good day to all,
i have just purchased this garminasus a50 handphone/gps device yesterday, and need some help.
- i have my personal poi from my old device (file name - garmin_wpt.nvm), where do i copy and paste this file to my a50 device/software, as i really need the location/position saved.
-Another thing the camera button at the side of the device does not seem to able to take photos, why?

Dear All
I'm a new android user, I just get a new A50 from Australia and try to root it. It's successful with z4root and I try to install Thai font to system. Unfortuantely I did wrong by deleting font folder in the system, therefore I can't run the system again. When I power on, it still have only garmin asus android logo and can't use it again. Does anyone please let me know how to restore or resolve this problem, or I have to throw it away? Thank you in advance.
