Stories: well since i got this phone it is barely in my hands. All friends are taking it to try stuff on it.I actally am hiding the phone these days.Bad news is that some 50 people manage to use it and now they are all going for Gigabyte.Like i said you can't beat this phones price and funtionality given that is even surpassing anything sold today.

Well i travel by train allot thesedays and i have my phone with me.In a 7 hour trip i watch 3 movies and make a few calls and surf a little and still 50% of battery is left when i step off.Tv option is great but with an antenna(any will do). Also will depend how far you are from an emission center.Actually people on the train thought it was a new nokia phone or something. The tv option just bring people around.Even At home i just plug my usual cable tv to it and the picture is great.I can even plug dvd to it and watch. I bought my unit in Dubai on my last trip.I hesitated at first but it was a risk i was glad i took.It is the only phone i bought and when i look around i do not see anything else coming close to it for another 2 years at least.I suggest you go for the black version of the 128.It is cooler.
Reminds me of the Nokia 3250 and the N80 screen.People who complain about this phone are just sobs who just like Nokia or SE.You should ask yourself the question if you still question price wise.No doubt you are thinking of going after the latest nokia or Se .Compare the features and price and then think that these phones have symbian(crap)and then think this has window mobile.About battery sorry i forgot ,you get two of them so when one is being charged you can use the other one and i found out you can charge the battery when it is connected to the usb pc port. How about that!i downloaded the touch pad program and now i can draw things.Worth every penny

I just bought this phone 3 days ago and i am extatic about it .I read all the draw backs it might be having but i suggest if you plan to buy one to hold it in your hand and then you will be able to see how worthy it is for the price it is being sold.Nokia and SE do not come even close with their Symbia C**p system.Especially when you see the Gigabyte gsmart128 ALL BLACK color it is to die for. They say screen is small for a pocket pc but there is an option where you can turn it so that things get shown digonally(i remember Nokia N95 is adopting this system for movie shows). For me the size is more than good.It is no smaller than any other smart phone screen out there.Makes it look like a phone that fits in your poket rather than a big screen thing that eats up all your battery. The second flaw mentioned was battery life.Well they give you two of them. One small and the other double density.I can say i am working with the small one and it gives me about a day and the DD gives you 2 days and some. While one is charging use the other.good option for backup and travel.I use the Phone normally about 3 to 4 hours per day and take some 5 to 7 calls.Another point is the sound quality which some have bashed.i got to say it is pretty loud.i 'd like to remind those who say so to remember that the quality of music you put into it also matters. If you put something at 64 bits and something 192 you will see the great difference. So People i'd say in one word Screen is great, battery is more than adequate and sound is better than good. Now mind you this was the so called flaws. This thing has the tv option which works fine with any antenna and the autoshutdown option allows you to save considerable battery life and still take incoming calls when you get them. It's got Wifi. There is one other thing i like about it is that you play videos full screen and watch tv too without downloading any other programs. The sensetivity of the touch pad is super.I'd say Nokia and SE can go F**k themselves for charching exorbitant prices for their new models that freeze all the time and crash where as this one does not even hang with a 2 GB card filled with progs.Seriously the only thing some people have complained about this phone is that is has everything and with man's nature, this phone has pushed people to sell just because they got fed up with it. If you want something that will last for the next 3 to 4 years and are tired of constantly changing phones for a better than resonable price then no hesitation whatsoever.Go for it.I know you like the nokia name or the SE name for prestige but Gigabyte has been making Pc for the last 25 years so the are not new at this.Nokia can keep all it future crap line for all they are worth even the N 95 that is for people who just want to spend 1000 euros for nothing.

off all the ppc phones, i'd say this is the smallest one that i could find and like. axia a108 is very nice, but too thick. i wish they make numeric buttons like axia...oh well. the phone nav keys are hard to use. it start up very slow. it took like five min. wi-fi gone after a soft reset. couldn't get it back even with the firmware upgrade or restore to factory settting.

I got a first peak at the i-phone and then put my hand on this gigabyte and i'd say no contest here.been looking around no one has the tv option yet.I like it because it is very functional and is truely something you can take with you and use anywhere.

You know what.i bought this phone and i got to say WOW!!! It's not 3 g but it has everything else i need.since i got it i don't even use my notebook anymore.Think of this phone as the smallest notebook around and then some cause it's got a tv too.If i was Gigabyte i'd advertise this thing a bit more and then see how f**k overpriced Nokia and Samsung lose the market in an instant

Was going for the Nokia N80 when the seller told me why do you want to get that piece of S**t.I told well i need something good and functional and then he told me you going for the wrong stuff and then he showed me this piece of work which i got to admit is far superior in every way.I travel allot and like watching movies and i love it Tv option is simply unparalled. No one has phones coming out with tv for the next 2 years at least .Not even the new I phone from apple.I'd say if you want something really good don't buy nokia or samsung or anything else.By this thing.Imagine something truely with every useable commodity you can have and in the palm of your hand.
