Can someone upload or post a link for KitKat update on this phone? Doing it using phone is not an option for me, as I do not have a working Internet at the moment. Once I have a link, I can download it from somewhere and add it to the InterSD card.
Also, the phone is just awesome. I ignore the heat issues, as it is because of the Octa Core, slimmest body and Gorilla Glass front and back.

I like this phone.
Pros: Stylish(5.5mm thick), fast (octa core processor), good clarity (Super Amoled display), good camera (13 & 5MP)
Cons: Generates Heat when playing games, average battery life
I recommend this phone for who wants to show their pride.

It becomes very hot when one talks to someone for more than 15 mins.
It's battery is 2300mah but still gets over very fast.

Gionee in terms of sales is No. 1 in India now defeating Samsung by decent margin. These chinese mobiles gonnna put a dent in samsung, sony etc profit. Big players have to wake up and stop overpricing their handsets.

I bought this phone 4 days back its nice.I updated it to kitkat n its working perfectly.front cam is awesome n the back cam is awesome in day light and good in dark.audio output is OK not that great at all.looks wise as all know its the best in the market.battery backup is decent that's all I can say.only issue is the message notification shows some number even when all the messages are checked...

Really It the most Frustrated Phone i had ever seen in my life. The frustration is so much that i have discard all my gionee phones. Please guys beware of gionee.

I just got this phone lastnight together with the samsung tabS...camera is great,i like it...music is fine...heating up?!yes but maybe coz its thin...battery life?!so far its okay,the rest specs snd features is okay!...outlook of this phone is nice,classy i'd say...i like the phone!
