Pros with s5.5
1. Full hd super amoled screen is far better compared to 720p of htc816
2. Better build quality n very easy to work with and in case of 816 the screen is 5.5 inches but the body is as big as xperia t2 ultra so its bulky
3. Far better performance compared to htc 816
4. Gorilla glass for both front n back... N htc 816 doesn't hv gorilla glass evn fr front.
5. Both cameras of s5.5 are better than htc 816
Pros with htc 816
1. Beats audio is simply better then any other smartphones sound chip.. I have a desire x so i knw that.
2. Dual sim with option of using both gsm n cdma together.
3. External memory slot.
Both phones hv similar battery life htc's hv a trademark of poor battery life.
Both hv good ui htc blimk feed is good n so is amigo 2.0

S5.5 has far better build quality compared to canvas knight u should check igyaan.com for there comparative review
Music system has software related issues... Bcz after using musixmatch sound quality is fine.
Performance is great with this phone u wl nt find lags n all n ui feels fresh since kitkat update.
Battery backup is also good considering the performance.

Try to pick cl frm lft hand it wl work n it wont frm right hand very easily.

Ravi, 29 Jul 2014Hey guys I m goin to buy this phone so plss tell me abut th... moreBattery backup is decent enough,the standyby time is quite good actually.I easily get through one day on 3G with some juice to spare with moderate usage that is.Heats up while gaming or cpu extensive tasks but thats only cause its so darn thin.

Have had the phone since it was launched, it’s a good phone overall sans the camera & audio quality. No matter which earphone or music player you use ,the sound is tinny and plain awful. What surprises me is that it wasn’t so bad on JellyBean ,it’s like suddenly the kitkat update has made it worse. Do any of you feel the same?

But i havnt faced this shake issue.
U can look in to gesture control settings... Turn it off may be it helps
And do download musixmatch app... It is a must for this phone if u want to enjoy music... Improves sound quality by far... N gvs lock screen control
