mustafa dawoodi, 24 Aug 2014What gionee g4 is upgradable in kitkat version ?is there any possibility of gionee g4 gpad getting andriod kitkat 4.4.4 update in the near future, because on 25/9/14 i called the company toll free number as asked this same question. but they just told me the same answer that once the updated will be out, they will let me know.
i am just curious to know whether there is any technical problem with g4 gpad that the company is not able to give the kit kat update, as you know that the phone is in the 18k category, otherwise the phone is working absolutely fine.

its a very good phone, i'm using it from 3 month, its good headphone sound,camera,battery life(rear use of internet or wifi),and all is good

hii every one i am using this phone from 2 month..bought this at 16500rs
There is no problem with this phone.but some of disadvantages are.
Does not support otg.
this is only one disadvantage..other wise phone is superb there is no comparison between battery backup with other phones.also gives more backup thane note 3 and camera is superg.
Also gaming is fantastic there is no lagging big games like asphaalt 8 (1.30)gb,gta(1.2) gb etc
Also sexy look quite slim and bigger screen so go for it.....

I loved this phone in starting, loved its specifications and speed in all but later came to know the problem of software. without any action its getting hang even it does not accepting rebooting phone and is just hanged until the whole complete software is installed newly again which takes lot of time waste even their is no any specific software update files which we can download from internet and try to update by ourselves. along with specifications, details, images, vidz their should be update file so that any one can download it and use if problem persist..

Worst phone ever...!!! Worst phone...!!! I buy this phone in 5th,march2014... And the phone have some problem that when i call someone he cant heard me and i cant heard his voice...this problem occur after one day of purchasing... Then i go to service centre then he take my phone and said after repairing i'll give back to you... Then i conplaint to the gionee main head in india.. Then he told me we'll give new phone to you... And they gave me new phone but they take 1.5 month and the new phone also have some problem that the phone is okay but in keypad its C alphabet not working.... In touchpad C not working....
I suggest all of you dont do the mistake that i do to buy gionee phone....
I lost my mind when i buy it i waste my 20,000.... This phone price should be maximum 5000/-...

This set of gionee is just superb except 3 cons-
1 battery backup
2 no external sd
3 no otg support
other than these 3 cons this is the best under 17k
