bought this phone 5 days ago.. a very good phone. sound quality of speaker and earpiece is great. earphones are average. no lags or any problems yet. games run smoothly. did'nt hang till now. best feature is the battery. my previous phone (xperia u )needed charging every 4hrs. but for this phone no such problem. i'm an average user. battery lasts for 3 days straight. camera is also good. but pics are bit whitish in the flash. i am not much of a photoghraphy fan so pics in dark doesnt matter much for me. pics quality in daylight is more than enough. no heating problem while charging or playing games. i use wifi frequently which works very fine. internet speed is also great on this phone. connects quickly with the network and no disconnectivity. i am fully satisfied with the phone. so after a long thought and confusion of buying nokia lumia 630, micromax canvas colors, moto g and gionee m2 i think i have made a good decision. a happy customer.

Raj, 10 Jun 2014will it not work on BSNLLIVE??It may work but if the APN is not compatible, it that case only default browser will work and other apps won't
so better use the apn which I provided you.

I do use it only during night hours/ I did not want to get disturbed.

Yes you are right but in the power saving settings I did not check the option for Turning off Data connection.
Then why does it turn it off??

May be u r using too many active widgets.
Try to remove the widgets from your phone desktop and let me know if it works..

Gionee M2 in Nigeria, ROM is 8gb !!
came with extra back case, pouch and usb otg and other accessories in the box

Only issue with auto brightness, its not working well.
Other than that everything is perfect.

Hi, I am a heavy chatter, use to carry a 5000 MAH power bank with my old touch & type android phones, likewise I wanted to go for a cell which relieves me from an extra luggage, one of my friend suggested me Gionee M2, he himself works for Samsung as a promoter still owns aa Gionee(reason awesome battery back-up), I personally viewedread review and continous update of MR ABHAY PRATAP which did helped me a lot to chose this phone, some even wrote to misguide that its 4200 MAH battery is 2000 MAH battery capacity of Sony or Samsung(WHICH I WOULD SAY IS TOTALLY STUPID OF THM TO SAY SO) The way battey works, android & the apps, speed, camera, connectivity, its modest look, I will say I have made no mistake buying it, for me the battery back up at this price range is astonishing & something that came from future, I cannot express more to anyone that how much relief & happy I am using this phone, which keeps me connected for 24 hours, I drain my battery till 20% till night, it takes approx around 5 hours to full charge, till the time I am also up for my work routine, a big thank you to GIONEE, you dont know you have stopped my GF's from complaining about me ignoring them(which I use to do previously with my old android samsung phone to save some battery) but now now, I recommend this phone, infact I am goih to buy ONE MORE & treasure it, who knows if this gem is not available in near by future up for a grab.... people who are travelling a lot, works more on net & emails, other features too, or even anyone who jusy picks a call or vice versa, this phone is good for any....this is my honest review about it, go for it without any multiple thought....!! Mr. WEIRDO !!

I bought m2 10 days back.it was working OK in starting but now it switch off and on itself.frequency has increased as days are passing.can anyone suggest solution to this.

jay, 08 Jun 2014I tried to play walking dead on this phone but its not work... moreNo Idea about this game in perticular, but I never had any issue with asphalt 8/ real racing/ FL Commando/ D-day etc.
If you are on unlimited data/ wi-fi try re-installing the game.
