Battery backup so so good. 36 hrs. Constant running With 3g internet and every 5 minutes mail synchronized and long talk time. So very good performance for battery. Rest is OK OK..

Widgets not working on apex/nova/adw themes, whenever I try to set widgets on the home screen launcher crashes or shows error report, wonder why.....

Hi guys,
i had mmx doodle, mmx can2, mmx turbo,samsung s3.
Have expirienced al advantgs & drawbacks as wel. Mmx mnbiles heatup while charging ,evry single phone had d same prob.
S3 was gud in everyway.
Now i have ordrd M2 from infibeam.com for Rs.10,199 online.
Yet to receiv n expirience my M2.
I used to read and explore all abt M2 in each n evrysite in web.
I specially need bettr cam & battery backup, and morover needed 1gb ram.
So guys wo have M2 pls ,reply overall performance of m2.

sonu, 08 Apr 2014total wastage of money i brought it from kanpur.after buy... morethat is phone storage.u can store file on that. you have extra 1.68 gb free for apps.

total wastage of money
i brought it from kanpur.after buying it, it shows low memory space that is it has only 512mb space but shown space was 4gb.

Actually i need to know whether this Ginoee M2 has any special audio out put facility like the one for HTC is Beat tech and some other sets are equipped with dolby, SRS etc. Which smart phone your prefer THE BEST in sound out put in the range 10- 12k. How much you give out of 5 for GINOEE M2. Thanks in advance.

It has been a superb performing phone since i unboxed it and inserted the outrageous and powerful 4000 mah battery in it !
Now if you are one of those who cares least about the branding and prefer substance over glitter than this phone is tailor made for you .
Reasons for that are
Quad core processor which enables it to run high end applications and graphic intensive games quite smoothly.For those who blabber about the mediatek processors ..MIND YOU ..most of ur so called big brands like samsung , sony xperia etc provide the very same chipset in the 10-15 k mobiles...for example Rs.17000 sony xperia c has the same quadcore mediatek processor which is instilled in Gionee M2 !
Superior rear and front camera ( beats the sub 10 k competition hands down )
But the highlight of this phone is tremendous battery life. Trust me on this there is nothing more satisfactory than the feeling you get after seeing 40 % battery remaining after a super heavy day of usage !
Just go for it...
Its far more superior to any of the micromax lava phones out there , most of these indian companies unfortunately depend heavily upon chinese vendors ,and the material quality hence isnt of the highest order but in case of gionee which is ranked among the lights of lenovo is far more trustworthy company as it is second biggest mobile manufacturer in china ! Known for its quality product in pocket friendly prices, its super popular in east asia and last year it entered indian market and now it has service centre almost in all the major metros and towns .
So ultimately all i can say is GIO Gionee ! :D

Using it since last 30 days . No word to describe. AWESOME. Never expect this kind of performance from a Chinese brand . Never lagged , never hanged neger gave a single trouble . This is my first SO CALLED NON BRANDED PHONE and it made me spell bound .Only little - point of its weight and RESOLUTION .. M2 rocks
