now in this 4gb memory 3.4 gd is allowed for system memory.where you can get 1.63gb free. when you install game or application that will install within this 1.63 gb space.
and again in 4gb total memory 612 mb allowed for storage memory and you will get full 612 mb free. where you can store pic, videos, songs etc...
hope you understand... do not worry... you can use up to 32gb external sd card. where you able to store data and install apps and games too. just change the default install location then...

There are many other devices already available with same specs like quad core 1.3 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB Storage, 8 MP+2 MP Camera, but the only issue with all of them was poor battery backup, I my self Had Micromax Canvas 2 A110, and my friend has got canvas HD and Canvas 2 plus. Performance is not an issue with them too, but with them I use to search for a power socket everywhere :P
But with my Gionee m2 I do have performance of 1.3 GHz+1GB+8MP Camera along with the huge battery of 4200 MAH.
I charged this device at 100% around 5:30 PM Yesterday, I have got more than 120 Apps and games installed, Many of them are social apps like FB, Whats App, Skype,Wechat, linkedin etc along with some heavy games like modern combat, D-Day, FL Commando and biggest of them all is asphalt 8.
I started my journey with my GPS, DATA & Sync Active and they are still active, I played asphalt, Candycrush, D-Day, Subway surf for almost 3 hours, kept using my Fb and What's app through the day.
After such usage I would have drained battery of my canvas or any other smartphone of any company, but as of now I still have got 28% Battery remaining in my Gionee M2.
However I did miss those back-lit touch buttons and led notification light along with OTG Support for storage (M2 has got OTG to act as a power bank)
Believe me I am writing these things because they paid for this thing, I bought this device after selling my canvas 2.
And to conclude what I started "If you are looking for a good smart phone under 10500 INR, and worried about battery backup go ahead and buy this device without any worries. It's a perfect Buy"

But The device is showing only approx 600 MB memory..
although it has 4GB internal memory.
How to get full 4GB memory ?.. plz someone suggest.

[deleted post]all my friends who want to buy this mobile ,first see the review of m2 on www.gogi.in , then make any opinian ,i am using it for more than a month ;superb design ; weight equally distributed ; yah its a bit heavy bt that also because of the battery and its not pixleted ; u can read text and watch videos without straining ur eyes

all the screens in this world have pixels. Are you talking about some alien screen!
I don't understand one thing, what most of the people expect from a Rs10k mobile. 2GB ram, 16GB internal storage, 40000mAH battery(i.e. 50hrs on 3G), 13MP camera, 5MP front camera, FHD@30fps recording in both front n rear camera, 5" screen, 441ppi density SuperAMOLED screen, 7mm thick, dual speakers, dual SIM, 4G connectivity, all the sensors-baro, compass, temp, gesture control, etc.,etc. the list is so long...OH!!! I forgot to mention Kitkat 4.4.2, gorilla glass 3. And not to mention IP67 certified, because we love swimming.

First of all an awesome budget device...Thanx to gionee...
Pros-
1)Amazing battery backup.
2)Superb hd videos playback(though it is a vga display).
3)No hanging,No Heatup,No Lagging at all.
4)Awesome design & built.
5)Full black colour looks amazing.
6)Decent music playback.
7)Amazing new amigo interface with customised themes.
8)Feels like hd phone.
9)Playes games without a lag.
Cons-
1)Bit heavy in hands.
2)Headphone sound in a call is bit low,we have to hold mic close to the mouth to get heard next side clearly.
3)Hardware buttons are not elluminated.
