Good day all,sorry for the initial typos. I meant I cannot access but my call and message logs. I am hoping its a setting problem! Please ,does anyone have a solution for me? Thanks

    Good day all. I just got a Gionee M5 and I can access my Call logs or message logs. I have several missed calls and I can access the numbers. Pls what do I do? Thanks you

      I'm having a challenge with recording video with my M5, the visual will be okay but only a hissing sound in place of the audio. I tried using other video apps and it had same issue.Please a solution?

        AnonD-481326, 28 Dec 2015There is no need to activate any 3G. It should automaticall... morewhen i use internet, it shows ev in the top and not 2x. actually 2ev, one is network and other is data.

        Also speed is network dependent. Maybe you are in a place where data congestion is more.

        I get great speeds
        reliance does not activate evdo automatically for all n sundry. you need to send them a request
        as follows :
        active HSD ( high speed data ) by sending sms :
        Postpaid Type HSD send it to 55444
        Prepaid Type HSD send it to 55333

          AnonD-149483, 27 Dec 2015if you have activated evdo then u get 3g speedThere is no need to activate any 3G. It should automatically work with your normal mobile top up even without extra 3G pack top up. But it seems CDMA 3G EVDO does not work at full speed in Gionee Marathon M5. All opinions point that 2G only works ( 1X speeds only and not 3G speeds). There may be some hardware problems in Gionee Marathon M5 for CDMA 3G EVDO speed.

            I want to buy Gioneee Marathon M5 because I am using MTS CDMA and AIRTEL GSM. I prefer MTS CDMA for 3G EVDO because it is cheap, fast, seamless and has wider area coverage for mobile Data than AIRTEL in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra. (Currently I am using ZTE N919D. It works at very good speed for MTS CDMA 3G EVDO, but it has a poor 1GB RAM only.)

            Many opinions point that Gionee Marathon M5 does not have full speed in CDMA 3G (EVDO) even by using the latest CDMA OMH SIMs also. Please tell me whether MTS CDMA 3G (EVDO) works at full speed in Gionee Marathon M5. I am delaying the purchase only for this clarification. Someone please clarify me on this point.

              The phone doesn't have colour display to differentiate the SIM cards icon display on standby mode.

                      Today I just purchase gionee M5 , but when I open web page, page hangup for few times or sometimes not open.i suggest to all Please do not west your money for these product.

                          hi i also ordered this phone. how was the camera clarity? this is the only question i am unable to get to a final decision. i have mi 4i and camera clarity is pretty good. which i got for just 9000 in offer. can u tell me about camera and some pics taken with both the shooters
