Google Duo hits 5 million downloads on Android in a week

Google's new video calling app Duo started rolling out early last week, and within a couple of days it became the top free Android app in the US. Now, the app has reached another milestone - it has crossed the 5 million downloads mark on Google Play.

It's worth mentioning that the Play Store listing for the app still shows the total number of downloads in the range of 1M and 5M, but given that the milestone was announced by none other than Google's CEO Sundar Pichai, it'd be reasonable to assume that the listing isn't reflecting the updated numbers.

FYI, I also use a 5s as my daily driver as the size is perfect for me. Also I tried a S7 exynos version and did not like it. Its too big and not even as fluid as a 5s. I see android as an unorganised laggy mess....oh and battery life is not bad on th...

Excellence? In just the fluidity of the Icrap? Never mind, I have a Samsung S7 and the performance is awesome since technically Android phones are really open and not so egoistic like Apple. Why use a phone that offer less features for a hell of a pr...
