Google is expanding the power button menu in Android 11
Some Android makers would expand the power button menu, allowing you to quickly launch tasks or the voice assistant instead of displaying only the power off and restart buttons. Well, Google is now looking to add that to Android itself with the 11 version of the platform.
Here's how the menu looks like according to the leaked documents containing the mockups.
Mockups of the new power button menu in Android 11
As you can see, the standard buttons for emergency calls and power off are moved all the way to the top making enough room for the smart home controls and the wallet containing your bank and loyalty cards.
The added controls give you instant access to your home's lighting, thermostat, cameras and everything IoT-related. You can control them with a single tap or tap and hold will take you to the corresponding app or bring out additional options.
As of now, we don't know whether the power button menu will be customizable with third-party apps or tasks, but we hope to know soon enough as the search giant pushed back the Android 11 Beta Launch Show once again.

and instead of pointing at a grain of sand like me, you should resort to doing just that to all the greedy evil companies harnessing the disgusting " power " of servant labor, exploiting little kids mining rare earths for example. Just my 2 cent...

How can a person be compared to a button performing a particular function? Are you right in your mind? And if people will say they don't need me I will be fine. I can live without people like you.

Well i am not happy with this decision. More way to see and control by others. What if anyone stole my phone or when people living with me borrows it. There are tons of security lackbusters.
