Wanted to know is there a way to find out the manufacture date of the phone on the phone?
I just received my pixel 6 days back. It was from an online store in India. The box mentions manufacture month as April 2017. But I read somewhere online that HTC codes its serial number to the date of manufacture. Mine shows that date as 2016 October. So am wondering how is it mentioned April on the box, and shows October on the phone? Is it refurbished? Because I purchased a new device, paid for a new device. HTC service centre is very far from my place to go there. Any idea or does anyone else have a similar problem?

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2017I am on my fourth refurbished Pixel phone since I purchased... moreI share your pain. My pixel went into a boot loop all on it's own. Now it just continues with the loading screen until the battery goes flat and there is nothing you can do about it. It's a common problem, just Google 'Google pixel boot loop' to see how many people are suffering with the same problem. All is not lost though; because the phone is wedge shaped I can use it as a door stop to keep the door open!

I am on my fourth refurbished Pixel phone since I purchased it on December 18, 2016. I have had so many issues with phone. One of the main issues is the keyboard "sticks" or "hangs up" when I am trying to text. Other times, I cannot even use my 4-digit unlock code pin to get into my Pixel. The screen freezes, I get error messages when I am at the Home Screen. Google technicians are so incompetent. One technician asked me what a "Factory Data Reset" was. Another technician wanted the last four numbers of the credit card that I used to pay my email account with every month. Seriously? Since when does having an email account cost money. I have tried to resolve my issues directly with Google. All attempts have been unsuccessful. I was told that I would have to send my phone to Google for a minimum of 15 business days so their technicians could "figure out what the problem was". I was told by Google that the issues are hardware issues, not software. I finally went to the new media with my complaints as Google advised me to contact my cell carrier to assist me with any further problems with the Pixel. I will never purchase another product made by Google.

Zubr, 23 Apr 2017One plus 3T what does it mean? It's an algebriac expression

                        1 + 3t

                        The actual inequality is

                        1 + 3t > px

Don't buy it...The back glass is extremely weak..Mine has cracked .. without any reasons ..I am not sure how it has cracked without falling down...As told by service center Physical damage is not covered under warranty..and replacing the same will cost around 7500 inr. as the total back side needs to be replaced. Not worth ..the money you pay..If you are an Android fan...go for Samsung or HTC.... Please avoid it

mines arriving next few days and have these expectations so hope it lives up to them.I wanted 128gb but cannot afford that and this unit is used 32gb. I love the Nexus range but after Nexus 5 the 6 was too big,Nexus 6P too bighead 3 Nexus 5x all had failed cameras or just stuck and now this which is so expensive. I seems like years since had a Nexus even though I like them.

I want them to build a Pixel 2 made of polycarbonate perhaps 6xx series chip/6gb RAM and be £349 for 128gb model.

Some_Nerd, 18 May 2017Specs don't matter. This has been true for years. The ori... moreAgree and it is the same with this DxO mark most Sony's got big score but actual real life was not good. We really do not need massive GHz CPU even for gaming it is the GPU that matters. A 21MP camera could produce awful photo but 8 MP can be stunning.

A lot of these reviewers just get the phone, test it out for 1 day and return it. It is when you live with the phone after 1 month then 6 months then a year that counts.

What about using the phone in busy rush hour is it hard to handle?is ring loud enough?etc what about as you travel going between cell towers will drain battery faster, these reviewers have no true meaning of anything they just sit in office take a few photos that is it.

The best thing is as you say, real life.

This has been true for years. The original MotoG was smoother than the Samsung Galaxy of its day, and the Pixel is smoother than any other currently available Android device. Specsmanship is what lead to the megahertz race, the megapixel race, the core count race, etc. All that matters is the user experience.
