I've been using this this phone for almost a month. The OS is soo smooth, amazing camera, above average battery life (1 and half day), super awesome multi-tasking, gaming experience is mind blowing.
The only negative point i personally feel is the slippery design

Irrelevant the way we see our phones today because competition is nose to nose approx. With all phones. But speeking frenkly i use the Lg g4 and now Lg g5 and i can say its the most reliable and strong phone i ever used. Its just an opinion.

What a poor phone from Google. This Google PICKLE is good for nothing, after using this phone for a week I came to know that I have wasted so much of money on this stupid phone rather I would have bought samsung, Sony, or at least apple....etc
Guys don't waste your money on this, later you will regret.

Windows,iOS,BBOS are great but are... moreAndroid is NOT open system, that's Google's fine tuned lie! You can't uninstall their bloatware or/and change (root) your Android system without loosing your warranty - why if it is "open" as they're saying to us?
Ofcourse, Pixel also proves what Android really is - it is a colorful salesman's bait for masses. It is unoptimized and full of commercials and bloatwares (sometime also full of malwares, especially if you buy cheap chinese phones).

I have Lumia 950 and it STILL gets updates, on monthly base regulary or twice a month. And it will going on. Now it's even more faster (especially camera and Edge), it is stable, friendly (you can uninstall apps without rooting the phone) and all in all Windows mobile is very good OS. Much better than Android. Microsoft sold their share and factories to Foxconn (who produces Iphone also) to focus on Windows mobile which have bright future if they continue as now. And yes, I am very satisfied with my Lumia 950, it is a really fine piece of hardware. And in next year we have to watch closely on market because Nokia is coming back.

I currently have the google pixel and the galaxy s7 edge. To be honest I love them both and can ever decide which one to use. I firmly believe that the s7 edge is a better phone with all of its features and being waterproof but I still love the simplicity of the pixel. I will switch between phones every day if not more than once a day..

okcomputer, 23 Nov 2016is the update of android version to next version (5.0 to 6.... moreits dependent on the company making the phone. The RAM and Processor usually last for 2 OS upgrades if not more.

Cost is not for raw materials used. Cost is based on what is final product from raw materials. And above all its is software which is equally important.
Be it APPLE iPhone or Google Pixel, a complete package of hardware and software which is priced.

Since this is made by HTC for google, i am very worried that the screen will stop working after 1 to 1.5 years. I have had bad experience with 2 HTC phones (Desire S & One M8 Eye) who's screen stopped working after 1 year of use, and am very skeptical about purchasing anything made by HTC. Sure it looks great quality from outside and all but is still not durable.
Also the price is too high to purchase at this point.

As a Developer this phone is not just a phone it is a tool for developers. Same as iPhones is it also a tool for Apple app Developers. so any other brand i will think it twice before buying them.. ^_^....Hello Pixel
