is google now making ph... moreGoogle have 'made' phones in the past. The Nexus series; though they would sell the rights to this off to other manufactures such as Huawei. This will be the first phone that they have manufactured themselves.
Additionally; it's probably likely to have or at least support Andromeda (Android + Chrome OS fusion) for its operating system.

If it's the same cpu as the larger one then I'm in.
I went from the nexus 5 to iPhone 6s because the new google phones had
- only premium on a large phone...too large for me
- not enough memory on the smaller one (I wanted over 64gb)
6s filled all those requirements plus some (yeah, yeah...I know, android is better etc...) I did jailbreak it though so I could add more use to it.
If they put wireless charging back, then that'll be excellent.
I don't think for a minute google will put an sd card in...their cloud business makes too much.
just one pro and con though if I did get this...
Pro...woohoo, back to a decent os I can mod and install basically what I like to do what I want...eg; auto changing wallpapers....
Con...I will miss the 3d touch, it has become useful in ios10. I kinda hope google add this but I doubt it will be a smooth as apple.
Come on wish list...come true...only hours to go now!

This could actually be a very good phone. If it works out I'm buyin' it, especially if it's gonna cost lower than Samsung phones.

Still does not come close to LG G2 from 2013. Pixel has larger body, smaller screen, smaller battery. Why can't they do another G2 with updated chipset?
