ASDFGHJKL, 06 Nov 2019Is this phone still good now?My Pixel 1 still works a treat and is still the best phone I've ever had (bought it at release so I guess it's 3 years old).
You can feel its age in little ways -- it's not extraordinarily snappy, but I'm a power user and it's still perfectly adequate.
I'm upgrading to a Pixel 4 XL at the moment because my Pixel is screwed, but only because I jammed a piece of metal in the charging port trying to clean lint out of it and broke the pins. :')

Dont by it, google just posted info that they will stop the support for Pixel 1.
Hahaha epic, so expansive phone with good specs and support time = 3 years. Epic fail...

i've got the pixel 2 and pixel 3a. neither one of them met my expectation. the "customer service" is horrible. and they never gave me the $100 store credit for buying the pixel 3a. i never complained about that until i had to send the 3a back because of corrupt software issue. i never did get the $100. they just kept making excuse after excuse until i finally gave up. i'm going back to apple. i never had any bad experience with the iphone or customer service - compared to every experience with google being worse than the last.

As per my experiences, we can do the initial troubleshooting if we are encountering issues after updating the apps or OS of the Android phone. Go to setting menu, look for the misbehaving app, clear the data and cache. The last thing we can do is to factory reset the phone. I've got battery issue with my Pixel after updating it to Android 10. The battery was newly replaced and yet it consumed the power like crazy. So, I end up to factory reset. And now, my Pixel is like a charm. Anyway, battery is weakness of this phone.

I have also some camera issues after updating my pixel to Android 10 but it was resolve by clearing the cache and data of my camera app. Feed me back if it help.

Nice camera and stick android. But the hardware has some known issues which should be under a recall program. Even the Pixel 2 had some similar issues. Only the Pixel 3 and 3a are the ones I would recommend anyone to buy if they don’t want much headaches in the future.

Android Nahhhh, 28 Sep 2019Go for 6s bro ... 6S more better than Pixel in 2019Yeah the 6s is a great idea, with the first gen foldable technology and the well known touch ic issue make it a 100% smart choice.
Leaving the sarcasm aside, it's true that the Pixel had microphone problems but at least it's not a pile of garbage like the 6 and 6s generation, plus it's still supported by Google - android 10 works really good on it, has gcam and it's really fast.
I bought one with the mic defect for 35 usd just to play with it and i can say that it surpassed my expectations

omar q, 13 Sep 2019my google pixel phone went dead after just one and an half ... morei bought mine since release which is 2016 running great and smooth till 2018 i game tooo much on it and also crack my screen and change battery and screen since then the third party screen and battery didnt really last that long i suppose for a year and it's dead. but yeah it's my fault anyway and it's upgradable to android 10

I bought Pixel 3a less 6 months ago and I live in India. Had a problem in my display due to leakage of moisture(I think), as I keep it in my pocket while running. My experience with support in India doesn't speak well for Google and the brand! It has been more than 3 weeks and I still don't have the device back in hand! The response I get from support is, repair is in progress at the factory and will be delivered at the earliest and the delivery date has been moving for the past couple weeks. I am frustrated as hell as I have to use my backup phone for a prolonged time. If I were to buy another device, it definitely would not be Google phone for sure!
