Google Pixel 10 series to launch with Pixel Sense assistant
Google was rumored to launch an exclusive “Pixie” smart assistant on the Pixel 9 series last year, though that never happened. According to a recent report, Google is ready to launch its Pixel Sense assistant powered by Gemini Nano with the Pixel 10 series later this year.
This will be a completely new smart contextual assistant with access to other apps and can perform actions on behalf of the user. As per the report, Pixel Sense will have access to all of Google’s first-party apps, including Phone, Messages, Photos, Maps, Gmail, Docs, Chrome, Files, YouTube, Recorder and Keep Notes.
Pixel Sense will be able to complete tasks and routines on its own while also offering contextual predictions based on Google apps and services you use. The updated assistant will be multimodal, meaning it can process voice, text, and image input. All of the data processing is said to take place entirely on-device and some processes will be able to run even when you are offline.
