Crafty manufacturers. They just say it's 6" with 18:9 aspect ratio but they don't say the screen is actually smaller. 92.6cm2 vs the Nexus 6 97.9cm2.

Was so looking forward to picking this up.. Google you messed up bad with the screen .. no software updates will fix tint shifts .. back to iOS

not going to spend that amount on money where i can get more (like the s8+) for less.
google is going the windows phone way.the sooner, the better.

Probably the worst phone design in existence. Exceptionally ugly and has the inferior 18:9 aspect ratio WITHOUT small bezels. Nothing can redeem such a stylistic catastrophy.

The pixel line up isn't a good option for many people who have say used miui/touchwiz/sense and so on they may not like it because stock android doesn't really bring extra features. However the mod community is very strong and and with that you can bring some extra features, but you know the average user isn't going to go around flashing roms and kernels.

why cant there be any phone with 2 front facing speakers, 3,5mm jack so i can use it in my car, and with 2 k screen? all the phones on the market and upcoming phones are trash.

- Samsung, more locked BOOTLOADE... moreUltimately, this comes down to preference. Bash Samsung all you want, but it still is one of the biggest brands around, and many people still prefer to go for a Samsung than any other brand - why is that so? Reliability & Innovation.
Samsung pioneered the Note - back in the day when 5 Inch screens were considered taboos
Samsung introduced the S-Pen - up to date, no other manufacturer has been able to copy that
Samsung pioneered the Super AMOLED display - which is still the gold-standard of displays.
Let's put it this way, before you bash away, please do your research. The Pixel 2 is by all means an awesome phone, but they took away some of the key features that are actually USEFUL. Google Drive storage is just awesome when you have the internet speed to work with it; once the lines goes down - you're pretty much stuck unless you sync it to your phone - which in turn takes it's toll on your PHONE memory - at this point, expandable storage does sound kinda cool right?
So, just my two cents - don't bash unless you're absolutely certain of your facts on this matter - I've been using Samsung ever since the first Galaxy S, back when they weren't that big, and they've come a long way. Many manufacturers end up copying or "innovating" to what Samsung has done in the past. Heck, even the bloody OLED panels on the Iphone X is made by Samsung.
No mean to defend Samsung over here, but I find your bashing rather pretentious and unbacked by facts - you're only attacking the physical aesthetic and software of the phone - But always remember that Pixel is stock android - and updates are fast because of that.

I would pick Pixel XL2 any day over any Android phone around for one reason UPDATES. But desgin of these phones of google kinda ugly to be honest front speakers it’s done google this an old desgin iPhone 8 and mate 10 comes with stereo speakers up and down works very well might be even better than pixels front speakers and it doesn’t eat half of screen realstate and made the phone looks ugly.

Again, not all 'future' inventions is the best. Most of people don't practically using wireless headphones. But if it has headphone jack, it would be advantage to this phone.
