Why are they still using the inferior P-Oled screens? did they make a bulk order with LG or something?
Why not the better sAMOLED screens? I wonder what other corners they cut when making the Pixel phones...

    No notch in 2018 is a bold choice. I won't miss it. There is no excuse for the chin, however.

          One of the greatest pathetic pixel device in history. On what basis did google think of going for e-sim (why copy Apple's techinque ) instead of physical SIM and how many service providers in India support the same. Since, this became like a single SIM android phone now, people would rather buy IOS phones if they need a single SIM device at such price range.

                Pre-ordered my 128gb pixel 3 in clearly white. Can't wait! Too bad it's gonna be another few weeks before it ships...

                  WANNA NEW PHONE, 09 Oct 2018just plain dissapointed. 845 processor should be 855 4 GB... more855=8150 actually. (The next gen is 8150.)
                  And max RAM is 8 GB so far. Nobody has yet to officially break that bar.
                  And one TB? Grab a Note 9, Add 512 GB SD card, you got 1 TB. :P
                  Don't exaggarate with your requests. ^^ learn the limits and request accordingly.

                              The better-looking Pixel and probably the best smaller smartphone of 2018.

                              People are completely overlooking what Google did here. It's an all-glass rear but they made most of it a matte finish. I love this. I hope more OEMs copy it. I hate fingerprint magnets.

                                this will probably still be my next phone however:

                                4GB ram worries me... is it enough these days?
                                no Face ID ?? Samsung and Apple have it now but Google still giving you the fingerprint only?
                                buying an SD845 SoC when the 8150 is just around the corner sucks.
                                $800 price tag.

                                Im hoping Google's software is impressive enough to justify this phone.

                                  You are very late in releasing mobile phones. SD 8150 is already ahead but still using 845 at the end of 2018? let's see how it sells. and there are still many other shortcomings like single camera. now pixel is iPhone

                                    Dahaka, 09 Oct 2018Why people are complaining about Pixel series, it was never... moreIt's not the money bro, people are mostly complaining about how inferior the overall phone is (hardware/design/battery/storage wise) when you compare the Pixel to the competition like the S9/S9+ which comes with better hardware, a more mature and elegant design and a reasonable cost.
                                    The fact that buying a Pixel is like buying a Toyota Camry for the price of a Lamborghini doesn't help however.

                                      I like the compact size. But for this price I'll rather go for S9.
                                      Pixel 3 doesn't have enough advantages to convince me to pay almost double for it.
