      It's an option. All android 9 phones will have gestures and the original 3 buttons as an option.
      When you're with updated one, when you're in app a back button will appear, and dissapear whenever you're at your home screen

        What about all the other smartphone companies that ignore their customers? The dying headphone jack is a testament to that... why would these companies think omitting it is a good idea? I will NOT buy a phone that doesn't have that feature.

                Google how could you keep making fugly phone again and again? Just take a look at Samsung or Huawei or Oppo or Xiami or Vivo or even Oneplus to make at least some nice looking phones! or just imitate Samsung design, no fugly notches, edges overflow to the side and no fugly camera bump at the back etc sigh!

                    I believe this is one of the most ugliest smartphone ever made. Note 9 or Xmax are the choice of the year.

                        128 GB storage only (and not ability to add external card)? thats make it easy for me to stay away. are not enough space for me. i have my music in Hi-Res (24Bit-192.000Hz)
                        also for recording video in 4K, taking pictures, install some apps/games, and put some movies. /no 3.5mm jack

                        should be 256/512gb options.
                        and something other, if price are close to iphone XS would make easy for me to choice the iphone instead of pixel XL3

                        maybe it's only me, and some others to have other needs but that was..

                              Remember when Google weren't trying to be greedy with their phones? When they sold flagship devices at minimum profit margins for the Android fans.
                              Now you pay more than you have to for a Galaxy Note 9 and you get MUCH less.

                              Even Apple looks at this and thinks it's excessively greedy.

                                Iphone xr will beat this phone......
                                Hey google you know iphone doesn't need over 4 GB Ram cause its have A12 Chip,Dual SIM,best OS,Best Security,Bigger Storage (512 GB),apple stay standing on top brand
                                but pixel come more limitation it's have less storage,
                                only one SIM,lower RAM 4GB is not sufficient (cause android os is needed more RAM) .Hey Google please
                                Care us.We want more powerful device with totally upgraded device not only software update

                                Learning from Nokia,Yahoo.their biggest mistake is
                                they don't care what user want.

                                  majority hates the idea od a notch.
                                  so they came up with as big and ugly design for their flagship.
                                  you can easily compare it now with fiat multipla!

                                    Compared to my s9 plus with no notch this phone looks bloody ugly indeed and I don't know why they made it look so horrendous.

                                    Just my two cents but I just think it looks horrid.
