Used to be that in return for handing over your life to google so they could monetize it you got a really good phone for a relatively good price.
Now they want top dollar for their electronics (current cream of the crop is well into Apple territory) but they STILL rip'n'strip you for every bit of information and sell it to everyone who wants it.
So no thanks. If I'm going to have to pay Apple money I want Apple privacy protection. I'm gone Google, bye !

Congratulations on having the absolute worst NOtch design in the world. Wow just amazing, I know Google are full of programmers and engineers and not designers but seriously, how did this monstrosity pass initial testing..

My question is why not widen the notch a little? At least then it doesn’t bunch up together and then take up even more space. Hell, I’d even go with 2 notches, since I’ll still have stereo speakers, symmetry, and a design that stands out compared to other smartphones

After all, the Pixel 2 beat every other camera out at what the others needed two cameras for: portrait mode. Doesn’t matter how many cameras you put, if the software for the camera isn’t good, then a bunch of cameras isnt going to fix that

you cant say like that . 12 mp is good at all . but you have to think about what they did to pixel 2 , 2xl ...what you think they build a awsome camera , actually im a sony fan . but i have to compromise. because its a beast of camera . best of all 2017 to 2018 . best portrait mode. check with the net . i think you may have to watch you tube about more information.

Only a single 12.2mp camera for secondary?! wow its 2018 my god, at least a dual 12mp would be acceptable; if you are looking for an alternative to this, the Huawei P20 or P20 Lite offers better specifications at a better price point, or even the P Smart for that matter

Eeyuuu...I hate that ugly design. Google, I know u make very good phones with flawless software experience but this phone looks really horrible. Please take cues from the market...I mean just look at the likes of Oneplus 6, Samsung Galaxy S9.
