I've had my pixel now for a few months and I really love it at one point I thought I would miss the fingerprint reader but the face detection works well besides all the other features that I love from the hand gestures to the cameras are what make this phone a solid phone.

I order Pixel 4 as I really like size and I think that battery will be just enough for whole day use.

I own a Google pixel 4XL, and when I first got it, I was really scared that it will not be a good as I thought it was. I also had upgraded from a Google pixel and I felt my phone aged really well, despite the battery lasting for only half a day. Anyways, I have had it for a couple of months now, and I haven't had any real problems, except for the occasional glitch. Even when I am at 90Hz, the phone lasts me enough to go to school at 8:30 am to when I get home at 7pm. If I had a problem with it, it would be the hand gestures features: Although it works quite well, I have noticed that when I am sitting in my bus, it would not let me skip my songs, and often had to swipe the other way for it to register my hand. But other than that, it's a great phone.

I've had every Samsung device since the Galaxy S3 and always changed touch wiz / One UI anyway and got a little fed up of having wait a silly amount of times the the latest Android version. It seems that one your device was one generation old it sort of got forgotten about so thought I'd switch it up and go for a pixel so the Pixel 4 XL is my first Google device.
I have to say I'm really liking it, no bloat ware that you have to hide and I find the device really smooth and the core Google UI is really clean. I don't even think I'm going to pop a launcher on it which says slot as I've done it with every Android I've owned. The camera is outstanding for what I use it for (I'm not a photographer by any means). Battery life hasn't caused any issues for me and I'm always have access to a charger anyway so it was never going to be an issue regardless. The lack of 5G isn't a problem at all because do you really need 5G in 2020? In my opinion I don't believe you do as I get around 80mbps from Network Three on LTE and have very good speeds from my provider at home on WiFi.
As a phone it's fantastic and I don't think I'd get 're-skinned' Android device again. Yes there are things you can do on other manufacturers OEM software but as a core Android experience it's amazing in both software and hardware.
All in all I love the device and the software. I would highly recommend this phone and definitely getting another pixel device and as a long term Android user who's owned Samsung devices for many many years it's the best decision I've made.

Pixel is just as good as all other mid - high end phones, I work with phones all day and have changed my phone 15 times in the last 14 months. My job is to sell phones to customers and I like to no what I'm selling. Although I'm not a massive apple fan I respect the business model and the products do look nice and run smooth, however android phones can run just as well for just as long, they all have built in performance apps.
I currently own the Pixel 4 and I was worried about the battery being so small, I use my phone all day at work from 9am - 8.30 pm (Wi-Fi hotspot, calls, text , research and trouble shooting), but I have found that not only does my battery last with no extra charging but still has enough to last the night.

My wife and I got new phones for Xmas, mine was the Pixel 4. Its worked okay for over 2 weeks now but suddenly the weekend the battery has been draining very quickly. It currently at only 58% after only 3 hours on standby, which is worse than my 4 yo Windows Phone I just gave up for this shonky Google POS. I've reboot and restarted numerous times and no apps are on. The two things we do like are the ability to share shopping list and the night sight camera.

I've had this phone for a month now and it is fantastic. The display and photos are amazing. Even the battery life is just fine. I haven't had any issue with getting 2 days of battery life. I just wish that this phone would have had the fingerprint sensor.

i have this phone for a week now. 65% brightness gets 4-5hrs screen on time with handful features and apps disabled. camera focus and zoom even in lowlight is impressive! love the size and colour of the phone. face unlock is accurate quick and instant. pure Android no unnecessary battery eating apps;) watching anime on higher 90hz refresh can really tell how super sharp crisp buttery smooth the display is. just lovely!!!

the Pixel 4 isn't a bad phone, however it's not going to sell well because most people don't care about tech, most people look at this phone with the these thoughts "does it look good, does it have great battery life and how does it perform" and google failed 2 of these 3, people who are saying your getting great battery life thats great but it doesn't change the fact that it scored the worst in battery life in 2019, people won't buy a phone that has a smaller battery than even and iphone 6 plus from 2014, 2 the design, most people want phones that look expensive like an iPhone and the pixel 4 looks like a phone that is trying to be modern by 2013 standards the big bezel on top and decent chin on the bottom is something that doesn't appeal to people, I know it because it has all the sensor crap but literally no one cares, your average Joe doesn't care that he can skip songs with his hand he cares about battery life and looks, about the only good thing is that it performs great, and they finally made it support more than Verizon, I think that google should just make software and give up on a phone or make cheap pixels like the 3a, that is one the best phones for the price it's clear that google still keeps the nexus hardware in mind and its hurting them. Again this phone isn't bad in tech geek form but no white girl or average Joe will care about its hand sensor and all this small battery crap

Love it when people who have never owned a Google phone commenting how bad the Pixel 4 is after reading specs and reviews. I'm an iOS user but if I were to switch to android (don't think I'd do that anytime soon) I'd probably get a Google phone. I've used a Nexus phone before and non Google phones are usually filled and infested with bloatware, duplicate accounts, spyware and whatnot and most manufacturer only provide one or two major android software update. I like my iPhone for now, apart from customization and camera I think iOS is superior for my need but the camera on the Pixel phones is really something else. Google is indeed ahead in computational photography, for now. I wish I have Google's camera post processing on my iPhone.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2019This is exactly what I did - moved on and bought heavily di... moreLOL a Chinese phone user commenting a Google phone looking like a cheap knockoff, as if any Huawei phone isn't one. Funny thing is I'd never use any Chinese CCP spyware phone let alone buy 1 no matter how good the spec sheet is. I'd take the bad & 'disappointing' Pixel 4 over any Huawei spyware any day of the week. Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion but I think yours is just terrible. You just sound like a bitter person acting like Google is forcing you to buy it, I mean it's not Google's fault if you can't grasp and comprehend the direction they're heading.

Enduramce ratings only 62h. 2800mah battery for what? Atleast look at the competition in the industry.
