      I do understand it is because of budget, but how is Gorilla Glass 3 against shatter? I just recently dropped my 3a from 1m downfacing wooden floor, it shattered all over. But that glass is named Asahi - whats the difference there?

                Rubbish camera and video quality on this phone. My Samsung s9 has better Camera and video quality.

                    A friend of mine has GP 4a. The problems he has with this phone:
                    1) Screen is not as good as it could be. Outdoors in a sunny weather it's difficult to see it
                    2) Battery life, sometimes he has to recharge battery 2 times per day. No gaming
                    3) Quality. Telephone itself feels cheap.
                    4) Camera. It's slow, AI smoothes images (I guess a filtre by default).
                    For this price it could be better.

                      Battery just a bit small, hopefully the new extreme saver function coming soon helps those of us who dont like to worry about a charge every single day.

                        For a brand new mid range phone at the price it is, I found it almost exactly like my old huawei p10 (size, shape) only slightly worse at everything. Cameras, interface, etc. I bought that for the same price around 2 years ago. Poor effort from Google and suspect a lot of the reviews have been paid for by a company struggling right now to boost their sales in an economic recession.

                              Anonymous, 05 Dec 2020How is the battery performing....i mean how much SoT u r getting?I get 6 hours of screen on time and 5% battery remaining. In heavy on social media and play about one hour of CoD.

                                      I fully agree with you when it comes to preferring small phones. I am a guy but I like small android phones myself. I would have loved to get Sony xperia XZ2 compact, but that wasn't available in my part of the world. S10e was still very expensive for my budget and it is not available any more too. I have gone for Pixel 4a as I found it a good mix of all my requirements and still economical compared to others.
