Great photos, better than Huawei p20 pro and iPhoneX - for night photos, strong daylight, 4k video stabilization. Excellent speed, no issues - not tested gaming. Easy doubleclick on power button to open camera. Always-on display took only 3% of my battery overnight, and I had 40% of battery left at end of day (light usage, some videos recorded/photos/GPS driving 15 minutes, some browsing).

I have a new Hisense 65" TV, I can cast using my old Huawei and iPhone, but not with Google Pixel - so guess Google doesn't support Miracast - seems a bit bad, but no other issues discovered. No overheating seen, screen has good colours - not done any excessive testing. Takes about 1:30 hr to recharge with included fast charger. Cable is USB-C in both ends. SIM tool and a USB-C-adapter is included in box, no case protection (some Chinese phones often include this).

It adapts language to SIM card during setup, so avoid inserting SIM when asked, unless you want local language (I wanted English rather than local). Then you will maybe get a hard time understanding the remaining setup process, if you're in a nation where you don't speak the local language...

Apart from screen casting, I don't see any other weak points yet. Not tested eSIM, supposedly being dual SIM...my model has no 5G, not a big issue yet. And not yet seen if I can remove the voice commands (Google).

Some issues missing compared to more expensive phones, is no wide angle/zooms lenses, and probably lower gaming speed. Plastic back seems good, less likely to break...

disc0stew, 10 Oct 2020Pixel 4a will support esim in india as per the specs listed... moreBut in flipkart, they haven't mentioned about eSIM. I am confused wether its eSIM+nanoSIM or not?

In indian model, can I use eSIM with microSIM in Google pixel 4a?

Launching in India on 16th. Seems like a good phone and may buy this. But there is no clarity if it's a dual SIM or single SIM phone. Anyone using the phone please guide. I only need a dual SIM phone.

(Helpful hint, you can't do that, but if you don't care about an industry leading camera, OLED display, timely updates on Android directly from the people who design Android [Google] maybe you should just get one cheaper one)
