Raj, 09 Oct 2020How big of a downgrade will it be if I move from OnePlus 7T... morea really big one, downgraded performance, downgraded camera (just because pixel has single camera), downgraded screen, downgraded battery, downgraded charging. It's really good phone if you're minimalistic, everything is good, just not as good as OP 7T pro

Only icing on the cake would be a sharper 16mp or more selfie cam and a dual physical or esim...bye bye iphone forever.

I have noticed this about a number of these apps built in camera apps which is why a feature of the upcoming Android update is to do away with this so they can only use the main camera software that comes with the phone, not their own apps which requires extra permissions to run.

If you're into the used market (eBay for example), I recommend you to go for the vanilla Pixel 4. Its used prices are the same as the 4a's new ones.

I don't understand people complaining about a plastic build or lack of 90hz display or processor . In North America it's the best you can do for the price with out buying third party if you care about the camera and updates. Best buy and I'm sure other places had it for 50 dollars off if you activated it when you bought it so for 300 dollars what is better I couldn't find it

Finally got mine. Processing on the front camera is shockingly bad! Soft and mushy like Samsung-tier selfie processing. Might send it back unless I can find a GCam mod that fixes it. Really disappointing.

Seems okay, got it yesterday. Not too impressed with the auto photo processing that happens when taking a selfie with messenger or whatsapp... doesn't look anything like the preview and makes it very dark and contrasty.

I hate that this phone comes with rear mounted fingerprint, face id would have been lit and I also don't like the back Plastic frame, come on aluminum frame is the future. If not for these two flaws this is the best phone. I am pleading with Google to correct such in the Pixel 5a and keep the low cost.

Photo sphere mode take 9 photos together and club them into a single wide angle photo, which has great details.
Other devices just have nameshake wide angle camera.
