I activated an unlocked Pixel 2 earlier today. No dice on the WiFi calling, even though the toggle was there, and lit up. When I tried to turn it on, got a message that said to try again later. Activated my Verizon LG G7 again, and it works fine. Too bad. I'll have to maybe try a used one from Verizon

If this phone will do WiFi calling on Total Wireless, it's mine. Total Wireless uses Verizon towers. My Verizon LG G7 can WiFi call on it. I'm old school. I also LOVE the fingerprint scanner on the back, a must for me. That's why I bypassed the 4. Headphone jack is a plus, but not a must. I choose Android over iOS, mainly because of customization. I could never use an iPhone. I text using the phonepad keyboard, like on old flip phones. I use t9, so I'm not tapping any extra keys. I don't do QWERTY. Don't want to learn. I have to have WiFi calling though

Everything I've seen says the Pixel 4a will have an OLED screen and 6gb of ram, why is GSM Arena listing IPS LED and 4gb when no one else is?

The thing is, there are only a few phones that are good and "compact" (still big af in my opinion).
S10e / S10 are very good but poor battery and overpriced.
Huawei P30 good quality too, a little less than S10 but much better battery. But you are stuck with their OS (no rom flashing at this time).
Pixel 3A is "OK" but kind of outdated (storage capacity/ram for example).
It's just nonsense to compare this to big phones like K20 Pro or Realme X2 Pro. Obviously they can pack better specs and better battery
