You could screen cap any frame of the video as a picture, it's what some of the later models of iphone started doing with their 'live' photos, kept the shutter open and made every photo a 2 second video.
That said, does the cost of a 'bad' person spying on you outweigh the cost of not being able to be discrete when gathering evidence of someone else doing something bad? what if a group of people were harassing, hurting, or stealing? Would you really want the have a nice shutter sound to alert them all?

Because afaik, it completely blocks out any system sounds, including the camera shutter. Maybe the AI chip on new smartphones could be tweaked to prevent taking disgusting pictures when the user is away from home.

Stock Android may be fast, but it's boring and less feature rich than other custom launchers like Oxygen, OneUI and MiiUI. The cameras may be excellent for a phone this affordable, but to say it trumps the Mii 11 Ultra, iPhone 12 Pro Max and S21 Ultra, is probably the most ludicrous thing I've ever read.

Stock Android blows everything else out of the water and its cameras are on the same level if not better than Mi 11 Ultra, S21 Ultra, iPhone 12 Pro Max etc.
